What price do you reckon the bookie go if there is a rematch in 6 months?
Sky are 4/9 Froch and 13/8 Groves (rematch in 2014) Listening to that interview it, sounds like he is looking for a way out of a rematch.

Froch is only getting older and I can't see that left hand all of a sudden getting held 3 inches higher.

Groves will have learnt a lot from that fight and 4-6 months is a long time when you are 36.

With Ward losing his WBC belt for inactivity earlier in the year, and after fighting last week in a non-title fight because his opponent couldn't get to 168, I think his people only have one option and that is to fight Froch again. If that phone call comes, Froch will have no better chance than in his next fight.
Groves might have to wait.
Groves rematch will be worth more $$. Froch is now in a bit of a predicament, the two biggest fights out there for him are Ward and Groves. I'm not sure he wins either. Groves made him look an old man at times last night and if they fight again in 4-6 months time the time will only have been a friend to one of them. I wouldn't be completely shocked if we didn't see Froch in the ring again. This. He needs to do what Lennox did and quit whilst lucky to have got away with one.

Grove's A-game is already better and his performance over the full length of the fight is only going to improve.

Regardless of whether the stoppage was right or wrong, and regardless of whether Froch would have ended up stopping him later in the round or the fight, I can't help but feel that Froch has come out of this looking like a huge dick. I always liked the guy but his words since the fight just scream of an attempt to restore some severely damaged self-confidence and it's really grating.

What a joker! As much as I love and respect boxers about as much as any group of sportsmen out there, pretty much all of them are sore winners, sore losers and delude themselves when it comes to the result. That's why this is always going to be a stand out moment for me, Richie Woodhall, class act: I remember I missed the fight when it happened but my Dad rang me up and told me to come round and watch what he thought was the most unbelievable thing he had seen in the ring. Probably quite a sad reflection of that side of the sport that it was a moment of humility.
