Absolute hilarity from one of the regs earlier:

Action in one hand at level 1 goes as follows - blinds 25/50, utg makes it 700, the carp in question calls, the button calls and the blinds fold. The rest of the hand is checked down to the river. At showdown, the button shows and wins with AK high. A few of the other players at the table express their confusion at the lack of a 3bet and he defends by saying something to the effect of "if I raised you would have both folded." At which point the remipede remarks, "yeah... yeah... NO! No I wouldn't have folded. I wouldn't have folded because I had king and queen." I miss playing in these games and confirming to the cod that the optimal play with KQ is to keep calling, no matter how many big blinds you're setting fire to.

The mackerel then managed to maintain his 100% VBTD statistic (that's "voluntarily blaming the dealer" for those of you who aren't both internet kids and retired poker players) by getting upset at me for his exit hand. 98<88<99. How do I do it to him every time? Must be rigged. Can't wait to sink my teeth into some of these trout again. Smiley

On the way to work last night I had an idea for a logotype I'm working on, and for no reason that segued in my brain to a new signature and a new diary title; then I came on Blonde on my break to see this post. Great minds and all that. It's similar, but I've taken away at least some of the miserable overtones, and it actually rolls off the tongue now. Hopefully now people will just overlook whose diary it is and I might get some hits! Cheesy

Well I'm officially a degen again on Friday, just one with an eye for design. Neither qualifies as a "job" I don't think!

Skype or PM?

I'm not going to Vegas, I'm probably not even leaving my house. Big plate of pancakes and a big online schedule tomorrow instead. Let's turn a bowl into a slightly bigger bowl one time! Updates on twitter! @point05, ya follo'?!

Obviously there's no such thing as a winning Sunday, but managed to claw a bunch back to finish as a small loser over 34 comps. No real sweats today unfortunately. Thought I was going deep in the Storm but got coolered 88 < QQ for 15 bigs from small blind facing cutoff open. Failed to find three outs in the $8.80 as well AK < KK for 35k each at 700/1400 blinds with about 28k dead money. Keep going deep in these two as well. One time!

Going to give it another crack next Sunday. Don't have the roll to keep firing up mid-stakes MTTs all week like my posher counterpart, but I'm enjoying it and definitely feel more than capable to get a couple of decent scores in the near future if variance will allow! Smiley
