Sean runs better than a thing that runs very fast.

If we take into consideration how many times I've been accused of colluding, perhaps "cheetah" is an appropriate comparison.

At least your not a coward.
mitch this is killing a lot of people and i just keep telling em, "i  dont know either ffs"

Pretty sure that was referring to the live stream scandal...too many dramas imo

Had a really good session tonight; made some good calls, good folds, flopped some monsters. You know it's a good night when you lose three flips and finish winning 3BI. I will post some of tonight's hands when I wake up, but right now I'm feeling good (no, really), I've just watched the sunrise, and now I'm going to watch some Frasier with a mug of hot milk and get some sleep ahead of the £150 at Dusk tomorrow.

Here's the August crush thus far:-

Dislike registering for a comp in level 3 or later. Table dynamic is crucial when there is still a bit of play, plus the deeper the stacks the more edge I have against most players in a £150 livement. Feels like burning money turning up with 30BB and not knowing who's on tilt, who's feeling their oats etc. But thank you for the semi needle anyway.

pretty sure jake cody and phil ivey have turned up at the start of day 2 and won triple crown events. suck it up slodier and get to work. its not like you live 90 mins away.
saying deeper stacks = more edge over most players is intresting. how many of these £150 livements have you won in total. thats all most as ridiculous as titybean turning up to the wsop main saying its the best value tourney he has played yet the result is the same as every other live tourney he has ever played in. Wink where is tity, aint seen him around for a while?

Haha. I've won more than I should given how many I've played. And didn't say I had edge over "most players," I said "most players in a £150." [  ] Have edge versus £1k mtt regs. If I had a little more to splash around (say for example, I just beat Perrins heads up for £35k effective) I might head on down and let my game do all the talking. As it stands, I really just wanted to go back to back but needed to make some excuses. Wink

Had a really good session tonight; made some good calls, good folds, flopped some monsters. You know it's a good night when you lose three flips and finish winning 3BI. I will post some of tonight's hands when I wake up

I generated a little history with the gentleman in seat 9. He knows who I am, but we've never really played together before. I'd folded every hand prior to this one and he had remarked upon my high fold percentage, because I "normally play every hand." He opened mid position to £4, I 3bet the cutoff to £11 with , he called and we were heads up to the flop of . He checkraised my £15 cbet to £39. Wasn't entirely sure what he was repping here, but he only had another £50 back so I stuck it in expecting to go to the races; instead he insta-mucked and assured me that he wouldn't be folding next time. The next hand I found and raised a few limpers, and the same villain was the only caller. I cbet the Two Clubs and he called. We check/check the turn and river, and I was good with my pair. He complained that "that was bad poker." He was probably right, but visibly tilted all the same.

On his big blind in the same orbit I pick up . I opened to £5, and he defended "because it's you." The flop was a soothing , Anna Kournikova my ass. Check/check. He led the turn for £6, I gave him a quick look and he stressed that it "wasn't worth staring over a £6 bet." Not entirely sure how I developed this loose aggressive image but nevermind, I figured he wasn't going to fold to me, so I made it £21. He made it £60 with £70, so I flat and snap the river shove on . He assured me that if I'd folded then he would have thought he had the best hand. I feel I've a lot to learn before I get older...

The highlight of the night came when the lady next to me raised UTG to £6 and everyone at the table called to my big blind. I flat with and frop second set on . I led for £23, and the lady raised to £53. It folds back round to me and I do my best to mask my shaky hands and throw in five ponies. She auto shoves for £200~, I call (ldo) and she shows . Poker is so easy.

Couldn't hold with JJ < AQ or 99 < AQ, or bink with on versus KK. All for £100-£150~ pots. Oh well. I'll run better another time. Monday night fun will ensue post-Nandos, and trip report might follow for your amusement. Peace.
