I'll be returning to Dusk Till Dawn this evening for round 2. Given the structure, one could question how "incredible" the £100 event really is - but they're adding £1k to the prizepool, and there will of course be the usual crowd of people with bare monies and no skillz.

Have been winning a bowl every night this week, and as such have spared the trip reports consisting of folding every hand, winning a flip with QQ and folding some more. I should at least have an interesting albeit cynical review of this crapshoot masquerading as a comp for your amusement. Peace.

Crapshoot masquerading as a comp. Lol you make me laugh. But signing off with peace is Fraser's handle so we need a different one for you.

Most excellent read. Just did the lot in one go.

Even though I did rubbish in the comp itself, the afternoon played out in an interesting fashion.

Alex and I started off on tables 37 and 38 respectively, both in seat 6. First hand we were three handed with a dead big blind. . Raise to 150, small blind calls. Flop , and villain leads for 600..? I make it 2025 and he calls quickly. Turn was a brick and he gives up, but thanks for bloating the pot. Over on the next table, Alex was busy making a straight flush and felting his first victim. Hand #2 , make it 150 again, see a two hearts flop four ways. In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have cbet this flop, but I got two streets from one player. Meanwhile Alex had flopped a straight flush draw and got there on the turn to claim his second victim. Looked like it was going to be a good day for the boys!

Alas, it was not to be, and I was out before the first break despite peaking at 18k. A late entrant came into seat 9 and started running over the table, leaving me to flip with the shortstacks to no avail. JJ < AQ; AQ < JJ; AJ < 88, and gg me. SWONGS. <3 low stakes mtts.

Has been a ridic low volume month, but I have the sleeves rolled up for August. I have a new mattress so I'm no longer sleeping on the floor, and a new laptop so I live out my life on Blonde without having to leave my room. I also have a gig dealing in Manchester for one day with the old school DTD bunch, and a night out with the boys tomorrow, so spirits should be high. Let's crush August!

Monday night seemed like the perfect platform for me to showcase my inept social skills, arriving at Saltwater around 8. Everyone was there, the food was wonderful, there was a great selection of cocktails - an all around perfect start to the evening coupled with a great atmosphere. The night moved on to Pandora's Box where the birthday boy stato_1 was visibly excited at the prospect of sharing a nightclub with the England cricket team. Within a couple of hours though, signs of alcohol-induced fatigue were clearly visible and - after I suitably embarrassed myself with a below average display of rhythm in front of my girlfriend Beth - I decided to call it a night. This meant that, for the first time in a long time, I was absent before it all kicked off! As such, I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I hope that everything gets resolved after everyone sobers up.

Revisiting my poker roots today: I'm off to Manchester to deal for a day with some of my favourite degenerates. Road trip begins in five hours (crushing August begins in 44.) Will have a trip report from the croupier's chair for your amusement. Peace.

milligan i dont do betting even if they are just for fun etc but if you  bump your thread so i can find it or send me the link i will join this
