Week 3 Update

There was no week 2 but i have clawed it back at the start of this week

Weigh in at 7.00am 21-03-2013

16st 5lbs (2lbs loss) (over 2 weeks)

25% body fat (Same)

49.2% water (4% higher)

The good= Have even when i lapsed last week maintained 3 litres of water a day and generally felt less sluggish for that

The bad= Since i have started this for some reason exercise has gone to pot need to at l;east do some this week

The ugly= Last week

I was so annoyed with myself last sunday and if i had weighed myself then i am pretty sure i would have been 16 9 maybe even 10

Have been mega strict first few days this week and it has recovered the position somewhat and the 15 stone something weight at least is in the distance now.

Have a family gathering this weekend which involves going out for a meal and were afterwards plenty of snacks e.t.c will be around. I will avoid these do not want to undo the good work of the week so far.

Jeans feel looser for definite which is a plus.

Keep going all fantastic work

Well done horsey, it must be difficult for you in your current circumstances, juggling priorities, but the "15's" are in sight now, & another month should get you across that line.

Enjoy the upcoming family weekend, & I hope all is as well as can be expected with Mum.

So with buying a house and finishing off a book (reviews are great for it, at least my early drafts of them are) I have barely been to the gym and eaten like crap in the last month. The only thing I have even done of merit was make a concerted effort to walk the dog more.

Last time I weighed myself, over 4 weeks ago, I was 14st 5lb. Finally plucked up the courage to weigh myself this morning, fully expecting to hit 15st........14st 5lb.

Either thats some serious run-good, or quite simply, get a dog chaps.

Anyhoo that still leads me with a forfeit most likely to pay on April 1, but I have an additional motivation now of I am going on that Sky Poker telly box next month. I haven't been on it since they started doing full body shots on the couch,  eek.

Hard work gets rewarded!

Thanks for all the support.

Went to HOOTERS tonight for only the 2nd visit of the year from going 3-4 times a week for the last 10 years.

Popped in to collect 20 HOOTERS Tickets for the 16th April Bikini Competition. And had a beer. If your in Nottingham for the Poker
at DTD the Bikini night is mint 7.30 till 11pm hosted by Darren Fletcher from Radio 5 football.

The folk could not believe how much weight i'd lost. Felt really good.

Well said John.

There is a belief by some that we can diet "easily", by using supplements, or hocum-pocum supplements, da de da, but to lose weight, whatever way we cut it, it IS "hard work", it does require some sacrifice, & anyone who thinks otherwise will fail.

As you also note, though, the reward is the end result, which is incredibly satisfying, as nobody else can do this for us, & we achieved it 100% ourself.

I think you in a bikini may be a step too far, but well done anyway.

Rocked in at 228lbs for a loss of 3lbs this week and more importantly a good solid 5 days of eating!

Instead of trying to eat so rigidly, I'm just avoiding the chocolate/biscuits and replacing them with fruit. This cookfood.net is a godsend, I have something from there for dinner a few nights a week and they also give you food for thought with regards to portion control on homecooked meals Smiley
