Step it up Woodsey, you're letting the crew down!

Its not really gonna improve in the last couple of weeks I'm afraid, I've got a couple of horrible weeks ahead before I head off on holiday. If I can lose another couple of lbs in that time I will be very pleased.

sigh.

lazy mindset mate Sad

Not at all. Am away Mon to Thurs wining and dining this week, same Mon to Weds next week. Can't avoid it mate, the job comes first, won't even have spare time to go to the gym when away. Gonna be tough to lose much at all before hols. Don't get me wrong I will try, but its going to be tough.

At the end of the day I'll still have lost over a stone, so its all going in the right direction. If nothing else what these type of weeks teach me is how not to put on weight when I would have done before this thread, so there is a positive there for the future in terms of long term maintenance when I reach my end goal.

Would anyone find it rude if you had a coffee while they all had dessert?

Would anyone mind if you drank less alcohol than them?

Doubt it.

Pretty sure you could get a 15 minute run in each day or something. Not hard.

Cba getting into it, it is what it is. I will eat as healthy as I can but there will be loads of booze consumed and there is no way round that. In fact they send me and a couple of others specifically to certain conferences with Docs to drink with them.

You have to remember how hard it is to lose a couple of lbs even when nothing bad passes your lips the whole week. It is basically impossible to eat like that while I'm at these things, you often don't get a choice of food, the booze part is non negotiable really. Even if I have 6 pints instead of 8 that won't make any difference really in the whole scheme of things.

I'm not making excuses I'm just being realistic.

Fellow Fatties.

I would like to change my second challenge details, if I get permission from you lot.

Basically my Jan-March challenge is to get under 14st, and the April-June challenge is to maintain it.

However, my whole plan for this challenge originally was to look good on my wedding photos. I get married in New York on May 10.

I will be in the Big Apple for nearly two weeks, and as you may know, they like their food out there. I really want to enjoy my honeymoon, and think doing so will see me put a fair few pounds on. I am happy with that, but for my challenge, it's a bugger.

So I would like to change my April-June challenge to an April-May 7th challenge (the day I fly out). But to make it harder for me, instead of maintaining under 14st, I will set the April-May challenge to get to 13st 7lb (Not the current challenge, that's just under 14st).

So a shorter term, but more weight loss needed.

If you guys disagree, I will stick to April-June as originally planned, no problem.

What do we think?

Sorry Dave, but I am going to have to veto this.  Is there a reason why you can't push the wedding back so it fits in with the rest of us?

Out of interest Girgles, what is the heaviest you have weighed in at ever, and also what is the lightest you have been as an adult?

Just wondering what this means for you personally, is it completely new ground for you?

I've actually got a personal training session at 3pm (Going in about 20 minutes later) - welcome to watch me suffer then.

Then currently looking like:
8pm tomorrow night
8pm Thursday
8pm Friday
Then the weekend maybe both days mid afternoon.

Yea I'd say heaviest I've ever been is probably 24st 1lb when I started this challenge.

I've not been under 22st for a very long while. I was in beast mode for a while in Australia in 2008 when Id say I was about same I am now.

I would say I was 16-18stone even at high school so ive always been massive.

Means a lot to me this time! I'd love to get under 20st by may and then kick on to the 16st mark by December!!

Let's dooooo this boys xx
