Out of interest Girgles, what is the heaviest you have weighed in at ever, and also what is the lightest you have been as an adult?

Just wondering what this means for you personally, is it completely new ground for you?

Yea I'd say heaviest I've ever been is probably 24st 1lb when I started this challenge.

I've not been under 22st for a very long while. I was in beast mode for a while in Australia in 2008 when Id say I was about same I am now.

I would say I was 16-18stone even at high school so ive always been massive.

Means a lot to me this time! I'd love to get under 20st by may and then kick on to the 16st mark by December!!

Let's dooooo this boys xx

Seems like a pretty solid realistic goal, go for it champ.
yep all the best mate your doing great really good

Weighed in today at 13st 10.4lbs which is a loss of 4.4lbs this week and a total loss of 27.6lbs and leaves me with 0.4lbs to loss to hit the 2 stone target.

Really pleased with the weight loss but I think the really change is about to start trying to keep it off.

Well done all with the weight losses this week.

Would be cool if you were lighter than me by Christmas. I expect to be anywhere between 16 and 17st.

I'll buy you a pint if you can do it.

Ok - I need the motivation to do this so am I too late to join?

I would like to lose 2 1/2 stone by July (at the latest) and keep it off. I just bought a swimming cap and membership to the gym.

Can I join in?  £100 penalty - same as Mr Galloway - seems like a good idea.

Phew - ok unless anyone does object I'm counting myself in. Starting a 9 day detox tomorrow followed by healthy eating and exercise until goal weight.

Current weight with shoes off but uniform and cardigan on (Yikes please don't tell anyone) 186.6 pounds or 13 stone 3 so ideally I'd like to be 10 stone 8. I will be the oldest on here doing it, not too sure whether age affects weight loss?

Ok - roll on tomorrow. For my own encouragement I will also be measuring waist, thighs etc as sometimes the weight may not be moving so much but the inches are reducing. I also have a dress I want to get back into which I have kept purely so I can keep the motivation going.

Any recommendations on how often to weigh etc?

Welcome Trace, my only stipulation is by the end of July, you have to have written a weight loss joke for the veterans on this thread.

Weigh-ins, once a week at the same time each week seems to be the standard.
