Well done Milligan, I think the nipper is a great motivator.

What, pray tell, is a Jersey Shore party?

Its my mate's missus' bday and there are a tonne of us who love Jersey Shore so we thought it would be a good idea, if you don't like it you are permitted to turn up in t.o.w.i.e gear. But basically its fake tan, sunglasses, blow outs, high tops, just dressing like a guedo, drinking ron ron juice, fist pumping comps, jersey turnpike comps, speaking in pseudo Italian/new yorker accents doing loads of random stuff and basically just getting smashed. Couple of the girls there are trigger happy on the camera so i'm sure there will be a lot of photos. I don't think i will have a 6pack by then.. Also I found out the shore store let you order online so i am getting some genuine merchandise. http://www.shorestore.com/Sweat_Pants_s/1477.htm?searching=Y&sort=3&cat=1477&show=200&page=1

can't believe i've managed it, but I have!

Started at 118.8 KG (18st 9.9lbs but considered starting weight of 18st 8lbs as thats what i'm using for a bet at work)

Figured out how to use my scales and I've hit my target on the dot.

This week has been really tough, I went to london last week and managed to put on 4lbs which meant I needed to lose 7lbs this week.  I didn't hold out much hope and just figured I was on damage limitation.  I walked home from work everyday, its around 3miles and on a slight incline which might not seem far but it takes it out of you when you put a bit of pace on.  I've also really stuck to the eating plan, no deviations (other than a nandos ldo) and i've been out on my bike 3 times really trying to push myself.

I feel much better now than when I started, I sleep better have more energy and have a much better relationship with food.  When I go out to eat i order what i want instead of ordering what I think will be the biggest portion.  I'm really pleased that you guys put this thread up, I had already intended to lose weight but fully expect I would have failed (again) if it wasnt for this thread.

My overall goal is to lose 5st total so got a long way to go but think I can do it.  My reason for trying to lose 5st is to get to a BMI of 25, it may seem odd as BMI is considered a shit measure of how fat you are but I work in insurance so its a measure I see everyday so helps me focus.

hope to lose another 24 lbs in the next 12 weeks then hopefully crack on to the finish line!

Congrats to all the other fatties, great work so far!!

Very well done to all.

Though I do hope you're all wearing pants of some description whilst taking these pictures.

lol thought you were posting your 3 month reward.

Of course the ultimate prop bet right now would be 'who can get back to their original weight the quickest?'
