Rich, best not to punish yourself and not eat any nice food over the weekend. Instead choose the better options and don't starve yourself. There are some decent healthy(ish) options that'll keep you going and keep you away from the bad stuff.

I agree.

Try the chicken with noodles and a side salad.

Tikay makes a good point, I have to put myself through pain to do it & I have had little interest in it really, not really thought about it & thought "chuff it".

But I am going to try and stick with it.

Marky147 given me so much advice through PM, feel so bad I have ignored it & carried on with stuff.

Tomorrow is shopping day too, so going to cut down on 'treats' in the trolley and avoiding eating a lot today.

I also pinched some scales from a family member, although not electronic I think they will do the job. Today is the day I start it all again, again.

I wouldn't worry Aaron, reading about your feast yesterday made me feel better about my weekend which was like Red's. Great fun, but ultimately undoes any good work that has been done through the week!

I'm pretty hot on nutrition and the like, but can't seem to follow my own advice through at the moment and it's puzzling...

My head still isn't in it at the moment, I get to the weekend easily enough and then get bored/tempted. Need to get some consistency, same yesterday in that I ate great all day and then polished off a couple of Crunchie lollies whilst watching Goodfellas last night  as you do Sad

Something has to give soon and hopefully not the buttons on my jeans!

Hope we do better this week mate.

PS - what was your best tip for losing the stomach? I am being lazy and not looking through PM's, think it was just sorting diet out?

I mentioned to Katharine I was quite pleased how my diet was going and she went bananas.

Apparently I am not on diet, I have made a lifestyle change and losing weight is just a by product.

So no more kebabs or sausage rolls.

Ever again. Sad

Nothing wrong with a kebab.  Assuming it was grilled lean meat salad +pitta.

If it was a shaved elephants leg, then yes, never again ~ for multiple reasons!

Chicken/Lamb Shish is great Keith, last year someone was worrying about eating them  and as I said to them 'It's just protein in a pitta'

I'm not going to go mental on macros for the moment and am just going to eat sensibly within my BMR. Once I'm lifting again soon I will monitor things more closely!

There is no tip for a flat stomach mate, but the upside is that a good diet and low bodyfat is about as complicated as it gets Smiley

I'm off bread.

Haven't had a slice (or a roll or even a crouton ffs) in 2013.

I feel your pain, I'm a massive bread fan/addict so am trying to avoid wherever possible too and if it's with a salad then even better.

I'm "nil bread" too, & it is the thing I miss most. (Aided by lashings of butter).

But bread & similar foodstuffs is largely what causes my weight issues, so it is just one of those things, I won't starve without bread.

If we want to lose weight bad enough, there have to be some sensible sacrifices.

I have gone through no bread patches.  (gone through no food patches too but..)

During the no bread stages, I used to place a bespoke order.

2 skewers of mixed veg (or 1 skewer of veg, one of chicken)  - no pitta, in a foil tray
large pot of chilli sauce
Another foil tray with mixed salad in.
Pot of hummus when not being strict

No reason why that couldn't be part of a healthy lifestyle.  Even when not in a bread moratorium, I still often order ^^
