Starting weight; 14st 0.5lb, February 1st

Target - 12 stone.

Week One Target - 5lbs loss.

1st Feb - 14st 0.5lb

2nd Feb - 13st 13.5lbs

Finished!

2 stone loss completed. My "private" target was May 1st, & I got there with 2 days to spare, hallelujah.

Sorry I clogged the thread with interminable & boring Daily Updates, but being "exposed" to doing it was part of the motivation, it helped so much.

All the good luck messages helped, too, amazing the positive things a Community can do.

So thank you very much, & I hope you all achieve the weight loss you aim for.

Good morning.

So glad to be back on this thread. Ish.

So, I was 14 stone on February 1st.

I reduced that to 12 stone by April 28th, so managed to lose 2 stone in 3 months. Pretty good that.

Today, less than 4 months later, I weighed in at 14 stone, 3 lbs. Which is HEAVIER than I was on Feb 1st. Pretty bad.

In 7 months, I've gone from 14 stone, to 12 stone, & back to 14 stone 3lbs.

Pretty shameful really.

I feel unwell again, too, my Rennie intake is at highest levels ever, as is my Norofen consumption.

Need to deal with this, & quickly, before I become as plump as Red-Dog.

Must say though, I really enjoyed the binge eating. Jeez, why are bread, sticky buns, cakes, ice cream & the like so nice?

Unbelievably bad.

I enjoyed it though.

Now the diet starts, & the weird thing is I'll enjoy that even more, I really will. The sense of achievement is immense, matched only by my shame that I piled it back on so fast. It was always so, my entire life.

Once I get my head right, the diet will be easy, a perfect pleasure. Starting is the tough part. If I can get from today through to Friday, that'll be it, I can guarantee that 24lb loss in three months. If I don't, I'm in trouble.

Really, I should leave starting it until Sunday, which will be the 1st of September. Makes it easier to work in whole months. There, an excuse already....

Hence coming back onto this thread, which I hope will force me to do it.

Very interesting point regarding need for indigestion tablets. I regularly use ranitidine, but if eating healthily don't need them too much, says it all really, the body just telling you it's not happy...

Exactly that.

When I am dieting (= eating properly & sensibly) I NEVER need Rennies, or Nurofen.

In the last 10 days, I have got through a "72 tablet" pack of Rennies. I wake up three times a night & have to take them. It's ridiculously stupid of me.

I'm looking forward to feeling better once I get started. (And these Posts help me).

The daft thing, & no point denying it, is that I WILL achieve the Target, & then I'll pile it straight back on again. And I'll be back here on January 1st.

What an idiot!

Switch to Ranitidine Tony if you need anything, only 1 a day required. the fact you are taking so many rennie means you need something stronger.

Thank you - but a better solution is to stop eating all the bread, ice-cream, sticky buns & nonsense that cause it.

Well obviously, but when that fails....

I have no intention of failing. Well, not until I get back down to 12-7.

Then, oh my, you'll see FAIL on a monsta scale.

Worked out today for the first time in months. I haven't had gym membership for a year now, so using weights that I have at home.
Just done a short session with very light weights, gotta get the body adjusted to exercise again.

As well as losing a stone and a half i'm gonna try and pile some muscle on. This is obv  harder than just losing weight, but is a way of training that i'm used to.

Pulse is redic high for me atm, around 75bpm. My healthy or fit rate is anything under 60 so want to sort that asap.

Got all the salad stuff in today, and just about to order a load of meat from westingourmet

Whenever I've lost weight, I've done it weight training. Obviously, I've put some muscle on but I've got in a couple of notches on the belt and I had an initial drop in weight.
Weights burn a lot more calories than people think.
