After a further investigation I can conclude I quite like Kim.

Murray is playing in the era of the two greatest players of all time
Laver, Sampras, Borg, McEnroe
Two of the greatest, not THE two greatest, I think
Federer and Nadal are better than them.

In any other era he'd have multiple slam titles
Today he was superb, djok was also superb, it could've gone either way. Criticising either player is just ridic
At 5-5 in the 5th he had two break ploints. A real champion wins that game. Over 4-5 years Murray has only asmall minority of these matches in the last 4 of a major
Yes the other three are better, but a real real battler wins a few more than Murray has done.
ridic
so murray's shit because he lost that game
djok was 5-2 up in the final set and let murray back into it including losing his service to love. he's obv terrible too as a real champion would never do that
nadal must've been licking his lips watching that knowing that whoever won he was going to be up against a pretty shit player on sunday

Murray didn't make a mistake in that game, Djokovic played out of his skin, his 1st serves where unbelievable when he need them most.
He had 3 btw

Not what I am saying. Murray takes you to the edge, and then doesn't quite bring it home
Yes the big three are better players, assuming all are in top nick. However I still maintain that at key moments mental toughness is a weakness in his game.

Murray is an excellent player, but he'll never quite make a great I dont think, doent have that killer instinct in absolutely crucial moments, or least in a high enough % of them. Unfortunate to live in this era of great tennis, and may sneak a major or two before his career is out but will also slightly off the level of the other 3 overall.

Agree with all of this, he runs so bad to be playing in this era. Think the other 3 are in top 5 best ever.

Just think your criticism of his performance today is very harsh and not accurate from today's performance only.

I think Murray will definitely win majors.
Federer can't go on for much longer and Nadal's career is dogged by injuries, wouldn't be the greatest surprise if he was finished before he was 30.
With no youngsters looking like breaking throughatm, that leaves a big window from maybe mid 2013 onwards until a new guard forms.

Fair enough, I think its reasonable comment given the body of work over several years though
and yes, he'd have won majors if he played at his peak in another generation of players

The top four in the rankings this week 11 years ago were Kuerten, Safin, Sampras and Magnus Norman (?).
Murray unfortunate to be born at the wrong time.
