Sell 80% to buy direct in day 2?
20% of 1 million euros still a lot of bean!
Legoooooooo
thought about this... even thought about selling at 1.0 purely to be fair and to ensure I would be one of "the best value" stakes on the board.
I only have one problem, I would probably be 1 hr late for day4, if I got there...
Oh, and the issue of raising £3k for me to play poker.
hmmm...
Think you would sell out if u sold it at spot.
As long as you told in the stake thread that u might be late, can't see anyone complaining, as they would all know up front. You would be free rolling by then anyway
Best of luck if u decide to play.
P.S all in x

Really unsure about the ISPT if I don't manage to win a seat in tonights 30fo.
I don't like the idea of 'buying in' for a 4th time.
So far busted with QQ vs AQ aipf, AQ vs 88 aipf, and AQ vs 10's on QQ10 in 3bp.
I could potentially sell for a day2 direct buyin and would imo be good value at anything up to 1.2 considering the mix of players.
However, if I were to sell for this big a buyin and at this short notice I wouldn't be selling at more than 1.1, if that.
I just wondered what you all think about this?
- Just focus on my poker elsewhere and forget this
- Its an unmissable tournament, under it or not I should find a way to play
- I should try to play tonight and forget about it if i dont make day2
- something else?

my opinion was i was completely OI, but looking at it today looks real good and once in a lifetme etc, to say "i was there" would be cool, Wembley is cool, structure is great etc.
go for it imo.

Apparently WEM BER LEY is not for us, unless we sell.
Just busted Main Event Day 1h
Open
MP to 100 over 25/50 with 4.2k, peeled directly behind, and from BB (both cover)
FLOP
check, I cbet 230 into 400~, call behind and fold from BB
TURN
Sigh... but we're still going to cbet again, make it a little 'bigger' to discourage raises. 500 into the 860, call.....
RIVER
I'm literally fistpumping this river, saying to my gf "this is great, he probably won't fold an A now, he can have flushes AND we're only beat by...... A5/ A6/ AA and A4"
As I say the fourrrrrrrrr
He calls for his stack, I bet 3.2k into the 2k in the middle....
To be shown the
.
ouch. Literally speechless.
That hurt...

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

I just played a decent sample of 100 and even some 50 will explain why later but I'm 99% sure the he's way is to play 34 26 12 they call a lot of 3bets and fold a lot post flop.
Tight will probably not be right.
we are waiting....

Somehow ive found out and ended up at G Luton playing the monthly £110 fo.
its a surprisingly good structure, a great field and despite my not being loved here ive been silent the entire time.
so much so that ive had a few people come up to me and say "didnt realise you were here... youre awfully quiet, its good to see you.."
Which was pretty comical. I've played really well so far, made a couple of good folds vs one guy and managed to navigate my way to the river without committing too many chips without a good hand.
won KK vs J10 aiott of AK9Q9 which was nice
and managed to rebink QQ vs AJdd aipf on KQxdddKx
wiiiiiiiii
got over 80k at 8/1600/100 with 100k being the average for day 2.
not much to do, just hold on for 3x 40min levels

fair one...
made day 2. 84800, avg is 90500.
Played a really really steady day. Had two guys swinging their penis's around, instead of getting involved I merely waited for the QQ and cold 4bt/6bt shove... got tank-called by AJdd as he was 'priced in'.
Spent the rest of the day chipping up nicely and watching people slowly blow up.
Some how Chompy has 350k to take through to tomorrow. Gavin Kan, Dan Muddiman and Rubin Phan also made day two.. sounds like all of us have a similar stack.
#couldbefun
Im looking forward to tomorrow, apparently we can win at poker when were patient and run half decent.
Little bit of faith restored.
Off to sleep now with a Bulmers and a white kitkat... as you do.
vbol to all blondes still in the ISPT. Would love to have a friend final and take the day off to come rail!!!
Is there a nandos in Luton vinnie??
