Second ODI Saturday at Lords

Pakistan's batting is weak for ODIs. Mixture of inexperience and out of form in the top order

top 4 is

Azhar. captain and going to be favourite. top scorer yesterday
Sharjeel. great if he comes off but bit hit and miss
Hafeez. might as well be batting with a bin lid in his current form. might hit the ball then, but would probably edge it
barbar at 4 is 21, talented lad but at the stage where he's scoring 40s and 50s and not going on for big ones

then we have wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, batting at 5 who is priced at 10-1 with Ladbrokes.

He scored 55 at Southampton and has over 1100 ODI runs in his 45 career innings to date.

he's the T20 captain, could be in for a lot of overs and scores fast

10-1 is a big price with such a fragile top order above him. Ladbrokes have him down as batting 7 or 8. batting 5 he should be something like 11/2 -6/1

link is

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/england-v-pakistan/2nd-odi/top-pakistan-batsman

Whether he succeeds remains to be seen, but with Pakistan 22/3 and with Ahmed at the crease, this bet is ideally placed.

For those that can. Maybe worth literally a couple of quid on Crowley to be Flat Jock Champ next year at 50s.

Maybe about to get a top job.

No idea what this is all about, but found a £5 free bet in my Sky account so seemed like fate Smiley

As he was on Morning Line, and now within one of SDS, I was wondering who else had got on?

Well, looks like another snippet I was told was wide of the mark(! Shocked !). But at least one other person secured a bit of value. Wink

Go Jim!!

Blimey, proper rip snorter that, GL GL.

Fred are heavily invested in SDS, but has a saver on Crowley at.......5/1.

Best-timed cover bet of all time on Crowley. We did it four or five days ago at 5-1 and he's now evens! Leaves us in a no-lose position, with SDS still a decent winner and Crowbar a break-even.

Jimbo is looking an irresistible force at the moment. He's now my biggest winner but, of course, one doesn't like to crow.

Having the backing of Tony Hind is golden for any jockey chasing the championship. Especially when they don't have a 'top job'.

Morning Mr T.

Back from an internet free break  near Dartmouth and not a lot of time. In today's challenge cup final I see a close game with points at a premium. I am tempted to go for Gidley as Man of the match as he is the place kicker for Warrington. But he is not a top goal kicker and his overall contribution is poor. If Warrington are to win I think it will be down to their attacking play near the play the ball. That is where our friend Daryll Clark has been dominating in recent weeks and a try or a couple of assists could win him the MOTM.

Suggest £10 Daryll Clark MOTM @ 10-1 with 888.

I like him as an anytime try scorer at 7-2 for those with a paddys account.

thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up

I did follow the great Blonde Horse Racing guru in, with a chunk on SDS, but, as yet, haven't seen the need to celebrate each day he gets a winner. Top job, either way!

Not crowing too loud, as nothing is D&D yet.

Palace are 7/5 today.

Have a feeling it's a 1-0 to Palace as Parses has a habit of getting a win in games like these to ease pressure on himself like at Norwich last year.

Bournemouth have had a poor start as have Palace but I just think there is a smidge of value for a small tenner bet.

You also have Zaha who may not even start after his request to hear about a Spurs offer wanting to prove his loyalty to the club. Also a statement wants to be made by Benteke.

It's 7/5 with Ladbrokes. If I get an elder okaying it I will put it on for you with Ladbrokes as I'm not sure you have matchbook or bet365

Like miss temple city at 7/2 with vikthar in the Woodford reserve at 11.20 at Saratoga  (group 2 race will be on atr)

Got 2 lengths to make on lady eli but the fav maybe a bit rusty after a while away and miss temple city seems a tad better this year.

With the dead eight it's a fair each way heat

Suggest 50 each way if we can get 7/2
