FA Cup replay Wednesday Wigan v Bournemouth.

Can see B'mouth really struggling to get a result.

Cold , rain/snow windy night in Wigan will not help, as surely Howe puts out a second team, with  a view on the priority of West Ham in the PL on Saturday.

Having said that, Wigan are favorites at 11/8 so not the greatest price.

I hope Fred had the Stoke relegation bet with paddy parr as they are paying out early - early as in now!

I'll check but I'm pretty sure half was with Coral and half with William Hill.

Hi Lisa,

Did you place this for us?

I rather thought you did, but the Spready says "Betfred". However, I just searched my Betfred Account & can't see the bet.

Indeed I did. £200 at 7/1 IIRC

The 4/1 and 7/2 about Ronnie for the world's is far too big if you can get your hands on it.  If he wins the masters on the  bridle like he did yesterday afternoon he could be a 2/1 shot by the end of this week.

He's by no means a definite runner though hence the price.

I've added Barry Hawkins to my tiny Sheffield portfolio at 28/1. He's pretty handy at the longer format. Been badly out of touch but had a couple of decent results in the Championship League this year and has been getting good breaks in.

A useful number of one visit frames there.

Getting beaten today in a best of 11 doesn't really change anything.

28/1 now. I don't expect that to be tens by May, but it's someone you know has the mental game to go deep in this format and, if his cueing is back, which his recent performances suggest it might be, we would be on the right side.

Worth a tenner dart?

I think you've probably hit the nail on the head but will you be lumping on?

4/1 is very tempting as is the 28/1* with ladyboys..

*now corrected.

In mixed news.....

Fred is just a week shy of it's 6th Birthday, what fun it has given so many, & made a good few bob too.

Sadly, thread starter Camel has not posted on blonde for a month, or even logged in to blonde for over a fortnight.

He can be a cantankerous old sod, but he's much missed.

He's OK, as he is still Tweeting a ton of stuff.

I saw him a month or so back at a social do, with the apple of his eye, young Jake, who is a fine looking boy.

And here he is with THE MAN

Here's one for body-language readers.

You reckon he wants the call?

Without any prior baseline knowledge of his body language, I would say yes he wants a call.

Talking of absentees, its been 6 weeks or so since Adzy last posted, & fair to say he parted with something of an all guns blazing and regrettable broadside. Some said we should have deleted his post, but it's hard to do right sometimes.

Interestingly, he logged in a week or so ago, so maybe we might see him again at some point. I wrote to him over Xmas, but never heard back.

Chelters won't seem the same without him.

Jeez, it's tough to keep a Forum like this going, so many rucks.
