Tonight The Dolphins travel to the Bills in Thursday night NFL action

I had a long hard look at C J Spiller, the Buffalo Running back, as with Fred Jackson out he should get most of the carries. However we all know that, and Miami has a very stout run defense. Their first task tonight has to be to limit Spiller, who is top class and would be a superstar if he din't play in such a small market for an unfashionable team

My attention then turned to who could benefit from the need to stop Spiller

I alighted on a similar player to Kyle Rudolph, who thread bet on for the Vikings a few weeks ago

Scott Chandler has 350 yards receiving in 9 games, he averages 13 yards per reception and has scored 5 touchdowns

At the weekend Chandler went  five for 65 yards with a touchdown against the Patriots. In the earlier game against the Patriots Chandler caught four balls for 62 yards and two touchdowns

The Dolphins have a bruising top-five ranked run defense (they allow only 94 yards on the ground per game), but their secondary is allowing a fourth-worst 278 passing yards per game. If Spiller is allowed to break free and catch passes in the flat, the Dolphins are going to have a long Thursday night. They will focus on him, and provide opportunities for others

The Dolphins also have a super pass rusher in Cameron Wake. A possession tight end like Chandler is more effective than the Bills' wideouts if the Bills run into a Wake on a hot night teeing off on the quarterback.

Less time for Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw means more screens, dumps and outlet passes to a guy like Chandler, especially when they play a good run defense.

Sky Bet are best at the prices here, but for thread look at Blue Squirrel

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/miami-dolphins-at-buffalo-bills/total-receiving-yds-scott-chandler

Recommend £30 over 44.5 with BSq at 5/6

For the Banzai

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/miami-dolphins-at-buffalo-bills/first-touchdown-scorer

Recommend £5 at 12-1 First Touchdown scorer, Scott Chandler, with VC. Be quick on that one though, 12-1 is out of line

Sorry Rich, I will have to deal with that later, after midnight, as I have a date right now with a young lady with whom I expect to share a cosy sofa all evening, & she gets very tetchy if I am late. Feelk free to drop her a line, of course. SkyOpen@bskyb.com

PS - The 12/1 Scott Chandler has all gone already.

Not sure bout your New York division bet, they were 3-1 two weeks ago, and before the season starts if u expect a team to exceed expectations is obv best time to get involved. Now they are the only team in the league to have won every game and the price has been slashed. They do have a good chance of winning it, but kinda feels like we shoulda been in by now.

As an aside, their division is one of the more competitive, 4 of the 5 teams are potentially playoff bound and the Nets have relocated to Brooklyn this season with a massive investment on court too and will probs be the most improved team this year, and obv Brooklyn v NY games will be kinda a big deal. It will be close between Boston and NY, but guess that's what the prices are saying too.

Have a couple of potential game bets for tomoro, will put them up for feedback. There's a few teams worth opposing at the moment having watched a lot of bball this week, Orlando being one, so I like the NY bet put up the other day, just didn't have time to comment and saw gramps missed it too

I think I remember Tikay saying that Fred is persona non grata with 365, but their line in the same market is currently 42.5 @ 4/5

MVG looking pretty special against Taylor.  That 80/1 (or was it 100/1?) is looking like the bet of the year.

Cheers, looked bad for a while even although he was getting so close to 180's but missing by millimeteres.

MvG is going to be close to being the favourite for the Worlds at this rate.

A lot of players have beat Taylor and then went out in the next round, lets see what happens in his next match.

MVG is my new sporting hero.

Fred is on at 50-1, is that right?

Oneself is on at 18-1 and 20-1. 6-1 is still a very fair price on tonight's showing. His the best and is starting to believe his the best imo.
