MVG is my new sporting hero.

Fred is on at 50-1, is that right?

Oneself is on at 18-1 and 20-1. 6-1 is still a very fair price on tonight's showing. His the best and is starting to believe his the best imo.

suggestion itself im pretty sure was 80-1? i managed to snaffle some 66-1 Smiley

thread is on at 50-1 for £10 credited to Bazzaboy (who put it up at 80-1)

Assorted tight and non tight ruffians are on at prices 66-1 and North

Quite the promising coup!

Yeah, Bazzaboy stuck it up when he was 80/1 and MvG won a Tournament not long after it, I reminded Tikay of the bet and I think he got on at 50s ew??

If he plays anywhere close to like he did tonight then only Taylor can compete with him.  Tonight was a big test for him as he hasn't faced Taylor since finding form and he produced his best performance to date. He is made of the right stuff.

Chompy, great use of Les in the avatar. Love it.

The likeness to MvG is the catalyst, I take it?

Their's a couple of juicy prices tomorrow night.
Suggest £30 on Dolan most 180's v Part @21/10 with Paddy, he's as low as 5/4 elsewhere.
£25 Wesley Harms to beat Barney @ 13/5 Betvictor, another one off the Dutch conveyor belt of promising young Players.Harms got to the BDO World and Masters semi's and has played pretty well in this tournament to.He has a better average than Barney.Barney was saying how nervous he was against another young Dutch Player, current BDO World champ Kist in his last match, which he lost.
He will be under even more pressure tomorrow night and the price looks too big.

I like both. I nicked some 3-1 Harms earlier. Barney buckles too often under pressure for him ever to be a 3-1 shot here.

I like Harms attitude, he plays the board and not the Player and I don't think it will bother him that it's Barney he's playing.Only doubt is he throws in the odd poor performance but that's to be expected with him being inexperienced on the Main Stage.

The tote ten to follow competition starts tomorrow.  It runs until the grand national meeting.  Boylesports have put some prices up on top chaser/top hurdler etc.  They have also put up a book on top points scoring mare.  http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/racing-specials/season-specials/ten-to-follow/top-mare

Quevega is joint favourite at 5/4 with Voler La Vedette.  In the past couple of years Quevega has run once and won once in the competition period.  She is out in a field eating grass at the mo and the plan for this year is the David Nicholson and then Punchestown (which is after the comp finishes).

Voler La Vedette scored a fair few points last year, but was fairly rubbish the year before.  This and the fact that they have completely mispriced Quevega means that the thread must back Tarla at 7/1.

Tarla is trained by Willie Mullins and last month won a grade 3 hurdle by 12 lengths.  Unlikely to be winning the champion hurdle but mop up a couple more of these and Que Vega can't beat her if she only runs at Cheltenham.

It is a poxy little market, so you are likely to get limited, but put as much on as you can.

Cheers

Tonight The Dolphins travel to the Bills in Thursday night NFL action

I had a long hard look at C J Spiller, the Buffalo Running back, as with Fred Jackson out he should get most of the carries. However we all know that, and Miami has a very stout run defense. Their first task tonight has to be to limit Spiller, who is top class and would be a superstar if he din't play in such a small market for an unfashionable team

My attention then turned to who could benefit from the need to stop Spiller

I alighted on a similar player to Kyle Rudolph, who thread bet on for the Vikings a few weeks ago

Scott Chandler has 350 yards receiving in 9 games, he averages 13 yards per reception and has scored 5 touchdowns

At the weekend Chandler went  five for 65 yards with a touchdown against the Patriots. In the earlier game against the Patriots Chandler caught four balls for 62 yards and two touchdowns

The Dolphins have a bruising top-five ranked run defense (they allow only 94 yards on the ground per game), but their secondary is allowing a fourth-worst 278 passing yards per game. If Spiller is allowed to break free and catch passes in the flat, the Dolphins are going to have a long Thursday night. They will focus on him, and provide opportunities for others

The Dolphins also have a super pass rusher in Cameron Wake. A possession tight end like Chandler is more effective than the Bills' wideouts if the Bills run into a Wake on a hot night teeing off on the quarterback.

Less time for Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw means more screens, dumps and outlet passes to a guy like Chandler, especially when they play a good run defense.

Sky Bet are best at the prices here, but for thread look at Blue Squirrel

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/miami-dolphins-at-buffalo-bills/total-receiving-yds-scott-chandler

Recommend £30 over 44.5 with BSq at 5/6

For the Banzai

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/miami-dolphins-at-buffalo-bills/first-touchdown-scorer

Recommend £5 at 12-1 First Touchdown scorer, Scott Chandler, with VC. Be quick on that one though, 12-1 is out of line

Thanks Rich.

We are on both, but not quite as recommended.

The Scott Chandler bet was 5/6 over 45.5 with PP, & 4/5 over 44.5 with Blue Square. Too tired to try & work out which is best, so went with Blue Square, over 44.5 @ 4/5, for £30.

We only got 10/1 for the First TD bet, sorry, been a bit hectic today, so missed the price, we have £5 @ 10/1 with Blue Square.

Superb niche bet Doobsy, EXACTLY what Fred was designed to do, thank you.

As you rightly suggested, we got restricted, (Claypole must be deemed a right ice-cream, he got £22!) - we were only permitted £11.

I'll do those Darts bets shortly, & Camel's horse job.

I gather we had a Darts winner tonight?

I have not yet pressed any of the First Test bets, though I'm severely tempted to have a bit more on India before I retire for the night. 4/6 best price now, looks a shade cramped that, another price I missed due to ditherage.

Harms can't beat Barney. RVB won the last 5 legs in a row vs Jones in the last match and finally seemed to be coming back to himself a little. Seemed quite confident in the post match interview (not usual for him recently).

I've had a double on Newton & Barney at just over evens with hills, the 2 youngish BDO Dutchmen were impressive in their opening games but not so much in the 2nd and 3rd matches and will struggle in the longer format vs their opponents with all the big stage experience in the world.

Like the Dolan shouts.

Amazing thread price on MVG for the worlds btw.
