not heard of any issues re getting paid from other betting forums, so i assume are ok. no probs with my stakes at £200 or so.

the point i was trying to make is that one of the Patel prices is wrong, and by quite some way. bet his perf over 55.5 or under 73.5 and i think you have a good bet. was scuppered in my middles bet by paddy limiting me to £88,so ive just stuck at that.

Oh dear.

"accidentally took the drug by drinking from a bottle into which a team mate had added a crushed ......pill".

Good luck with that Mr Sherman!

I have no idea how this might affect the bet (except, obviously, negatively to a degree) but if both lads are using a similar defence, gg them.

Lets call it off for now as a thread bet, can´t believe I missed the issue with the corners. I´m pleased they´ll be there for Larry Fitz but the idea of facing Green Bay or Eli without either of them is pretty scary. Thanks for the info Dave.

Bugger. I really wanted to get on, but maybe you are right, and this changes things a bit too much.

Fair play to Dave for the info, too.

Guess we have to revert to guessing the gender and d-o-b of an unborn Royal.

http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/los-angeles-lakers-at-houston-rockets/point-spread

Market has gone whack on this game tonight.

Suggest £33 on Rockets +1.5 with Coral. (10/11)

Lakers are horrible on the road (1-4) and are very hit and miss in general atm. Rockets have won their last 4 at home.

The game is gona be a shootout with the total point line at about 214 (lol) niether team plays any defence whatsoever. Dont dare touch the points line but 2.5 point edge on the rockets is too good to pass up imo

:-) Very well reasoned bets they are too, I´m on both a girl and a monday. I´m confident we have an edge in that one.

Just to confirm that Aronian beat McShane in an utterly wonderful game. This leaves the standings at:

A reminder that the scoring system for this tournament is like the football system of 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.

Tomorrow is a rest day for everyone. Our man is at the top and has broken - unofficially - the record for the highest ever rating in history.

Thanks Tom, & congrats on that Raptors bet last night, it cruised in. I got the jitters when the market moved the wrong way, so decided not to proceed. WP me.

Fred's winless streak is becoming embarrassing, so I hope you can break the curse tonight.

We have £33 @ 10/11 (Coral), Rockets (+1.5) over the Lakers tonight.

McShane and Aronian start their game.

It is customary for a guest to play the first move on the top board at the start of the round (often a Lord Mayor or some such ceremonial postholder). In London, it is a youngster, as the tournament is working closely with the Chess in Schools and Communities organisation.

Magnus Carlsen tries to cast his mind back to when he was that young. 2001 probably.

yeah i don't blame you. I was really surprised it moved that way as I really really liked it when i first saw the line and posted. As you saw though it sailed over, running pretty good in NBA atm which is cool.

Here's hoping Fred gets back on track. I take it he doesn't play for them?

Interesting one at Hereford tomorrow, Loughalder in the 3.10.

AWJ has put him in the Racing Post at 20-1, which looks fair enough given what he's done.

However, he was backed from 20-1 to 7-1 on his comeback in October and Rob Wright, the only national tipster worth listening to, has put him up.

Also, Bet365, who are sponsoring the card, put him in at 11-4. That price looks wrong on the face of it but it's an eyecatcher.

It's unlikely he'll start anywhere near that short but somebody somewhere obv thinks he's capable of better than he's shown so far. I'd expect him to start nearer double figures and he's worth a look.

Nearer on betfair now

What price would you both advise to back at tomorrow?

Smallest & biggest?

5's tomorrow - worth an interest?

If he's in the 5-1 to 10-1 range I wouldn't put anyone off
