hello

tikay is restricted at stan james (account closed i think)

so cant use them

obviously if people can it is better to take the 25-1 there than the general 20-1 tikay had to take for the thread

As horsey said, Stan James closed my Account, as I presumably made more money with them than they cared to accommodate.

You should place the hector bet with them though, their price is miles ool.

Really gonna enjoy sweating hector's Wales bet.

The perfect sweat!

Should win too, it has Golden Goulder's money on it.

If you have a spare 15 minutes, MMQB is a great read on the stories behind last night's two NFL games

Betvictor tweeting about this with the hashtag Rylanout.  We could do without that trending!

Stan James shortened to 20-1 by the time I got to them anyway, so went with betfred with whom I already had an account. Deposited £20 and we're in:

Market   Selection   Price   Hcp
Six Nations Outright 2013
To Finish Bottom
Wales   20/1
Total stake   £ 20.00
Estimated return   £ 420.00
Full stake   £ 20.00
Full estimated return   £ 420.00

Is this correct TfT etiquette?!

Only by me, as it is important that the owner of the bet knows it is on, & so MereAccountant can keep the Spready up to date - he enters all the bets for us, & so he needs that info.

If you are just punting for yourself, on the Posh Bloke Diary, you just need to say (BEFORE the Event) "I have had £20 on Wales" or whatever.

The difference here is that we need to be accountable.

What a night.

That's the reason betting on sports is nearly the best thing ever.

It's very early days, but my gut feeling is we've got to hedge now.

I really like this Baltimore team and I feel they are going to have matchup advantages all over the field.

The Niners secondary was abused by Jones, White and Gonzalez - and the Ravens have excellent weapons in all three positions. Joe Flacco is playing stone cold lights out.

Niners are not getting any significant pressure on the opposition QB.

After seeing clearly Justin Smith trying to tackle Rogers with only one hand at one point yesterday I'm convinced he's nowhere near 100% and without him functioning, the front 4 are just not the elite unit they've been all season.

On the positive side I think Vernon Davis should be able to have another productive day. So should James out of the backfield. But at first thought I don't lik the SF wr v Baltimore secondary matchup at all.

And we still of course, have the blessed Colin who is everything I thought he might be. And more.

I dunno, it has all the hallmarks of being a very very tight game to me.

I much prefer playing Baltimore +4 than closing out the original bet.

I am pretty sure it's the side I would be taking if I was entering the game without an ante post position.

Let's sit on our hands for a few days. Once the market become mature, we'll be able to bet both sides at virtually even money as bookies clamour to take our hard earned. Once that happens we can work out our staking plan.

Oops. I wasn't sure, keen to not "aftertime" should it come in!
