Cheltenham Festival Banzai o'clock.
The selection I'm about to give you has won two of the last three renewals of the Ryanair, and was touched off last year having traded 1.13 (1/8) in-running. If he goes he'll have AP on his back, and the betting public love AP. If he goes it will be because (a) he is fit and (b) the ground has dried out.
Albertas Run might not make it to the party, but if he does, I'd be willing to bet he'll be a lot shorter than the 25/1 currently available at VC. Why not take the bigger prices elsewhere I hear you ask? Because VC are offering Non-Runner-Free-Bet, ie. if he doesn't make the race Fred gets it's money back (as a free bet).
Recommend £10ew @ 25/1, Albertas Run to win the Ryanair with VC.

Thanks Ian.
I will have to take your word that it is "Non-Runner Free Bet" as I cannot see where it says that, but we are on.
I can't pretend to know if it is a good bet or not, but Fred bets from you are a rarity, so it'd be good to get a winner from you.
We have £10 EW @ 25/1, BetVictor, Alberta Run, Ryanair Chase, Cheltenham.

Albertas Run (EW)

On the ballboy issue, if he is tweeting before the match how he intends to waste time and patently does so, isn't that grounds for a Swansea expulsion? I am not excusing Hazard though.
Should be but he was called in as back up, he's no longer an official ball boy I believe.
A bit like the "special team" in the NFL?

One of those horses I can never back, yet delivers every year. Usually with an AP special.
Ryanair looks one of the toughest races at the festival this year as horses flock to avoid Sprinter Sacre or wont stay Gold Cup distance. He is 50s on the machine, but as you say if he turns up and its dry I expect shorter than 25s. GL

Morning Mr T.
I have been keeping an eye on Dr Noh and 3G in the hope of finding a bet. The Doctor played last week and missed the cut, generally getting birdies but cancelling them out with bogeys. He has done a Rory and ditched his clubs for a bunch of cash from Nike and until he shoots a consistent couple of rounds I think we have to avoid him. It is a pity as you can get 5-1 on him as top Asian this week when last year we were getting less than 3 to 1.
3G starts his American adventure in earnest today. I am not convinced that he is able to win on the US Tour as I don't think he ever gets in the putting zone that is required over there. Still I may be wrong. I shall keep looking for a golf bet for Fred, but it would be nice if someone who actually knew golf would put a recommend up as it is a cheap 4 days of fun.

Morning h.
What a shame, 3G was such fun last year, part of the Fred fabric really.
Once the season starts, we have a goodly few Golf Experts here who will give us a few sweats, & they generally have a dedicated Golf Betting thread, too.
I don't think there is much worth betting this weekend in the American golf. It is one of those awkward "two course" affairs, one course much tougher than the other, & there is also some thunder & lightning forecast for Friday, which complicates it further. (And no, I never knew ANY of that, but I was told so by a very fine judge of golf).
There may be some value spots on Saturday & Sunday though, we shall see.

I
think
this is my first bet for Fred itself - though do remember the halved matches fourball fiasco I PM'd you about...

I have been getting a good sweat each week recently backing Scott Piercy.
Made good progress late last year, and finished top 15 in his last 6 events(off top of head). Trading around 50s. Been trading much shorter during events but struggles to finish it off, but if your desperate for a recommend that's my two penneth....

That one did not count, it was not a Fred bet. Fiasco? I'd like to be kind, & disagree, but......I mean, how COULD it lose?
I believe you are our 101st Member to have a bet on the Fred Ledger.

Manchester United v Fulham in the FA Cup on Saturday teatime - I can't have it that Fulham are 11/1 in this.
9/1 DNB with United being as short as 1/25 DNB
I am aware of Fulham's pretty poor record away from home in recent years, and their record vs United but they won away at The Hawthorns last weekend and that's no easy game, plus the game in August wasn't a straightforward win for us and I wouldn't be surprised to see a less than full strength United team.
9/1 DNB looks the bet?

The price looks monster huge David, though we'd need to do a lot of these to overcome variance.
I would think the maths experts can prove if the price is right or wrong.
Let's await feedback.
