Anyone following Walsall of late?

They have won 6 from 7 and from what I gather playing very well with it all sparked by a win against Colchester.  This includes very good wins at MK Dons and Preston and last weeks home win against in form Bournemouth (with 10 men).

Colchester have lost 9 on the bounce.

Walsall are 8/5

Looks pretty big to me.

Yes, we follow every Walsall game, as we have backed them to ........be relegated.

Got a good price, too.

Move on.....

Obv does not mean you can't back Walsall in this match if you feel they are value.

No personal opinion on this bet either way just wanted to say.

Hi Dom,

Yes, understood, I  was just having a little fun at Eso's expense, a rare opportunity which could not be passed up.

Am working this evening ( in 2 minutes!) so am not available to place any bets, sorry.

I have been putting this bet up for quite a while now & I will post it again as price is once again good.

Charlton v Wednesday

Wednesday struggling for strikers & generally in the market for one at the moment & are playing with Antonio up front at the moment. Even when not playing up front he is always having a chance when on the wing and will of course get even more chances when up front, our best player in my view.

As mentioned he is very likely to play up front and is priced up at a HUGE 11/1 for first goalscorer at Charlton, 11/1 on first goalscorer for a striker for one of the form teams? Obviously some places in the market have not done their homework.

Price is massive & is definitely a chance of this happening.

Recc (again) @ £5-£10.

Thanks Aaron.

I need some help with analysing the value there.

Looked up prices again & some firms smallening prices now. prices as low as 13/2 now with Betfred but 11's still there.

Smallening? How did that get through!!!!!

it's get tinier!!!!!!!!!

think you meant ensmalling  (antonym biggering)

I've had two little tickles. One is Jack Lisowki, who plays Adam Duffy first up. Could be his sort of tournament. The second is Graham Dott, who seems to be playing reasonably well over the last couple of tournaments.

It's a blinking lottery, this, tho. More chance of picking the winner of the Lincoln.

Had a couple of small bets on Ding & Ricky Walden - more to take an interest then anything though.

This afternoon sees a "jumpers bumpers" card at Kempton.

Ericht runs in the 1345, a horse who has been a perpetual disappointment over hurdles since showing early promise in bumpers (6th in the '11 Champion Bumper (for which he was fav) won by Cheltenian and beaten only a short head by Cinders and Ashes who went on to win the Supreme).

Anything like this form on his reversion to a bumper should be enough to see him the dominant force in this field.

Currently 11/4 but I make him closer to a 2/1-9/4 shot.

Recommend £20 Ericht in the 1345 at 11/4 (BoG) with Stan James / Boyle Sports. If you can only get 5/2 look to punt it on the exchange instead.

EDIT: 5/2 BoG also good, but if this price halve stake to £10.

Bet suggestion.  Wycombe to beat Bradford at 4/1 or Wycombe and draw at 11/10.  We all know about Bradford heroics this week.  They will be on cloud 9 and surely can't be that focused on the game this weekend.  Same theory as when Fred opposed them vs Oxford a couple of weeks back, successfully If I remember correctly.  Added to that Wycombe are in fine form of late winning 7 in their last 11.

Happy to hear other people's suggestions and thoughts on this bet.  I think alot of weekend fun punters will be backing Bradford after thinking about their cup form and take an eye off of their league form.  Also I don't think Wycombe are are very 'fashionable' team to back.

Do people prefer either Wycombe to win or the double chance? Or would it be a good idea to have a smaller sum on Wycombe and a bigger one on the double chance if Fred likes this bet?

Second bet I like this weekend would be Watford at forest.  You can back watford at 2/1 right now, or the draw no bet at 23/20.  Forest aren't on a great run right now, Watford in great form.  Seems to be quite a big price to me.  I can add stats and form later but on my phone right now and am abit presses for time.
