I'm afraid Tighty & I are both a bit sidetracked this week, he with UKIPT, me with UKPC, & both of us with things & stuff stuff. Will try & catch up on bets & stuff shortly, but I'm working tonight, so I only have half an hour.
Normal service resumed very shortly. Probably.
Keep the stuff coming though, please, loads of folks read Fred.

PP has not been keeping up with the training runs in the States, & are out of line as to current form.
A more open race than expected, with the dominant force of Lindsey Vonn in women's downhill missing with injury.
Lara Gut has been in the top 2 in last runs, & comes off a win at Soelden. 11/2 available.
Bwin prices reflect the true form in training. Four girls have been putting in the best times, Gut, Fenniger, Weirather & Cook.
Good work Tonji, just the sort of stuff we need, though personally, Winter Sports ranks just above SCD, IACGMOOH & that sort of drivel.
Anyway, we DID get on Miss Gut, but PP were in a particularly tiddlearsey mood with me, & also, it was WIN Only.
Still, if it comes in, that's my Christmas sorted.

Nic McDonald is 4-1 with Coral to win xfactor, slightly worse than BF, but they are paying e/w 1-2 at 1/4, effectively evens for 2nd, I would have said this should be odds on considering he has been solid in the betting throughout. There are 5 with Sam odds on and the rest 12-1.
Pass it over to the experts but I would imagine it should be a bet.
Thanks Ommy.
I really need the Trash Experts to comment on this. With Football, Cricket, Horse Racing, that sort of stuff, I do at least have a rudimentary knowledge & understanding, but with this stuff, I don't have a clue, sorry.

David Mooney position was placed today
That means we now have
Wells
Mooney
Assombolonga
Bamford
for the L1 golden boot
with talk of Griffiths too
Perhaps we should look at whether the portfolio is shaped ok before backing the field? Shortly we'll only be the Coventry pair short of having everyone covered and thinning out any potential profit on portfolio diversification....
The four bets are 40-1, 33-1, 25-1 and 10-1, which comes out as a combined 9-2 shot approximately.
They are now 20-1, 14-1, 7-1 and 10-1, which comes out as a combined 2-1 shot approximately.
Ergo, we are in a good spot. Just need one of our boys to go on a run and for Nicky Nacky and Bamford to stay put in January. And for Britt to stop behaving like a toddler (suspended v Wolfs after another booking last night).
I'd have no problem with backing Griffiths at 4-1, a quarter 1-2-3-4, but it doesn't really fit in with the others somehow.
So what should we do, get on, or leave it?
Snowy is usually pretty near the mark, my only concern is we are a bit overloaded in this market, though some of them are damp squibs it seems, Conga-style.

Texas A&M bet lands.
BOOM!
I wanted to start Sunday with some good news, here it is. Took a while to find, mind......
What in interesting bet that was.
Catching up after visiting my brother in London, I placed this bet for you didn't I tikay? My bet365 account isn't letting me see the history of settled bets for some reason but I remember it being there. Send me details via PM tikay and I'll get it shipped over asap.
Thanks Scott, my memory is a little vague, but I'll try & find the bet, & bump it.

Fred should bet Texas A&M under 9.5 wins for the upcoming college football season with 365 or Paddy Power. Suggest a stake of around a ton. I'll explain later. Do it now.
Thanks Stu,
Details in the morning, but......
Bet365 restricted us to £1.23, (6/5) so I left it.
Paddy Power Restricted me to £23.14, so I took £22 @ 10/11.
Am trying to sort the Alabama thing, bear with me please.
Can get £50 @ 21/20 with bet365 if you like tikay?
He's not on, but he'll take it please..as long as you have what you want.
It's on. £50 @ 21/20.
Ooh, thank you very much, Scott.
I have written to you via PM as to payment of the £50.
So......
CONFIRMATION
A FURTHER £50 @ 21/20, Bet365 (via Scott), Texas A & M, UNDER 9.5 wins.
ON
BUMPED FOR SCOTT
I honestly have no idea, without checking further, whether I paid you for this bet. Do you recall? I believe we covered it via PM's, but I get or send 30 per day, so it'll take a bit of finding. Failing that, I'll delve deeper tomorrow.

Chompy is right on the portfolio thing. No idea why we should back Griffiths.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Lara Gut set the best time again in training over a second quicker than next best Tina Weirather. Pre race favourite, Tina Maze is improving but still looks off the pace, her strength is later in the week with Giant Slalom.
Race is tomorrow, you'd normally expect top five or so to be separated by less than a second. Hoping for a big smile on the top step of the podium please Lara!

That's conclusive enough for me tikay, send bank details via PM (don't think I have yours since you don't make the grade in the dog comps) and I'll send over sharpish.

Truncated daily report as I am in event hell/juggling balls
No positions completed today, and we are +£185 with two days of the month to go, forward book £3,000
A good night for Matthew Stafford in the NFL as he added 330 yards to his season passing total, which should consolidate his place in the top 4 once the weekend is out
in the europa league at half time Dnipro are leading 1-0 and Firentina are being held 0-0
If it stays like this they go to the last game with Fiorentina a point ahead and hosting Dnipro, who we have at 4-1 to win this group
All eyes on Ms Gut tomorrow. £1.25 at 11/2 awaits her victory!

Dnipro won 4-1 and Fiorentina drew 0-0, so we are now 1 point behind going into the final game in Florence.
