TOR Raptors66/1Championship Winner - 10/06/2015
Each Way 1/2 1,2
Stake £20.00
Estimated Return:£1010.00
Total Stake: £20.00
Potential Return: £1010.00
the only outstanding basketball bet is now part of the Raptors division bet, which i could not action
NBA - Atlantic Division 2014/15 Toronto Raptors 5/6 100
it was recommended at £300
if it is alright with arbboy we'll stick with £100 as i am conscious that the forward book is now bigger than tikay would like, and stuffing another £200 up at odds on for 8 months is an issue
Sure whatever you feel is best.
I just stated £300 to show the strength of the bet for the forum in general
. It will be settled by the second week in April at the latest. If we run good maybe late March fwiw.
Perfect way of demonstrating the perceived strength of the bet.
I've asked Tighty to sort of try & reduce the size of the forward book, or at least not let it get any larger. If we don't control it, there's no saying how big it could get.
Beats sticking it in isa's!!!! I have been trying to tell my mum this for years!

FWIW, I understand you not wanting to increase the forward book but to my mind and as much as I disagree with him on politics Arb comes across as one of the sharpest cookies on here. I don't like to have too much going forward myself but I opened up a Corals account last night as soon as he posted and got on all his selections for the sums advised. I don't know how I'm telling the mrs we're not getting that new car in January but we will cross that bridge once back from Vegas.
Chompy seemed less keen on his Posh top 6 bet if Dubai can lay that off then I would suggest bumping the returns on Arb's selections as there is likely to be a small loss on Posh bet if cashed out early.

Looks like arb is moving markets to the top of oddschecker's most popular bets.
Toronto division bet is 4th most popular bet on there.

There are several regulars here who I would sufficiently trust to invest £300 of my money, & ArgueBoy is certainly one of them, though there are a good few others of course.
It's a bit wider than that though - the forward book currently stands at obver £4,500, & on top of that, we have, at a guess, £3,000 or £4,000 spread across various betting accounts.
I never anticipated investing sums like that in the thread, & I'm keen not to let it get out of hand, especially as there is no guarantee that Fred will continue in it's current form much longer.
I definitely think it would be £300 well-invested, but where do I draw the line, supposing another £500 arises next week, & £500 the week after that? It just seems to keep getting bigger & bigger, & I'm a little uncomfortable with that. My Dad would faint if he knew I had that much tied up in punting!
Remember, the "Fred Account" is just the sort of mortar that holds everything together - there is nothing stopping anyone else putting as much on as they wish.

Fwiw on this market i have made Parker a bigger winner than Wiggins today. Gone in again on Parker at 5/2 quite large. Not suggesting fred does just trying to show my current position. espn preview had parker virtually across the board ROY amongst their 30 writers which is significant.

totally right. If i could bet this on credit and not tie up money i would be having 5 times more on. Money management is as important as finding value if you punt for a living. ev wise this is nowhere near as strong a bet as the weather from sir chomps or red's SNP leader bet. It is still worthy of a maximum imo. Those two bets were literally finding money in the street.

Thought I should give Fred an update on the Lola top girl bet on Xfactor I tipped@7/4*
As expected it's become a heads up battle.
Unfortunately, according to the market it's almost a 1 horse race.
http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/x-factor/top-girl
I wouldn't be rushing in again to top up on Lola@9/2 after she's put in some awful performances as of late.
However, I also wouldn't be taking the miniscule odds available on Lauren who I feel is grossly over rated, especially in the outright market.
The problem with the bet Fred has, is that it's dependant on Lola singing in tune at least once, instead of transforming week by week into an older, larger version of the girl that showed promise in the auditions.
She's had a makeover that makes her look worse, she appears to have put on a significant amount of weight and she's being dressed up as an over 40, not someone that is only a few years older than the 17 year old Lauren.
The Judges keep telling her she needs to believe, when they don't believe in her themselves anyway.
Hopefully she'll get the sympathy vote and Lauren will go before her.
Still happy with the thinking on the original bet-backing@7/4 v an 11/8 shot in a basic heads up battle when both are similarly priced in the outright.
*TLDR-Bet not looking in great shape but wouldn't give up just yet, both are awful-just hope ours is seen as least bad by joe pubic.
She beat Steph anyway mate

Don't recall moaning about people going to tipping lines. Once against, someone reading from my posts what they want to read, not actually what I say.
Anyway, thanks for your effort on these. Now I got some time I shall mop up on some of the long gone prices, to join in the sweat. GL
