Just checked in running prices on England game at half time.

England to win 6/4, Ukraine 16/5 to win.

I might be naive or stupid but how can this be priced correctly?

Ukraine look much more of a threat to me.

they do

the prices look about right though to me

I wouldn't put past either of them knocking past the poorest keeper in the ournament.

really?

Will try to be constructive rather than critical, its a pretty flimsy rationale for a bet.

I'll take Shay Given, half fit and 36yo as the poorest keeper in the tournament, thanks

Rooney/England 4-1 is skinny odds too

As for Milner, he's done what he's been asked to do for the team, not sure he'll be frustrated at doing what he does, which is a workaday right midfielder.

Unfortunately it seems to have perhaps in my opinion proved wrong on all account.

Ukraine keeper was poor and to back it up, throughout Ukraine's three games the commentators said so. I also add that apparently he was 4th choice according to the commentators tonight, and of course he was at error for the first goal. Perhaps he is the reason Ukraine are going out tonight? Is Shay Given worse? Not sure, but neither have played any good.

Rooney/England - Not really sure on that one.

Milner - Hmm, worst player for England tonight and been very average on previous games and missing a sitter against France.

As for Rooney staying on for 90 minutes, glad you didn't get on. But at one point I thought it was going to happen when Carroll replaced Wellbeck!

Luck was on my side (ish) tonight, I backed Rooney and England for £20, but missed out on Rooney 90 minute bet as it was online and I didn't have time to get it on at bookies (got there at 19.40!). Although did waste £5 on Scott Parker first goal, sigh, he plays so deep Sad

Parker is so one dimensional and wooden. The sooner he gets his old job back driving for Mu Lady the better.

I must apologise for being "unavailable" during the England match.
Having read a match report, it looks as though Fred missed out on some winning tips (but also some losers).
Congratulations to England for reaching the quarter-finals and our France/Benzema bets are still live despite France losing 2-0.
It's a funny old game.

The next Euro2012 match is Czech Rep. V Portugal at 7:45pm on Thursday.

In a cruel bit of timing, they have moved the Tourneys from the Venetian to Palazzo, and there are no plasmas or Sports Hall in sight, bugger.

I shall therefore have to rely on Fred to keep me appraised.

Running bad already.

An outrageous spur of the moment decision made...in February...

Frankel the best horse I'ver ever seen. Better than Dancing Brave. There, I've sayed it.

Is the tournament room still right at the back, under the escalator? Isn't it a lovely place to play a $300 comp?!

As for Frankel, if he is going to pwn the field over 10 furlongs, too, they will be rewriting the history books.

Probably still time to get on WI for last one day international, England made 3 changes to bowling lineup all of which are negatives. Take the remaining 5-4 as its unders betfair already. No real opinion on who will win but price is a price

On.

Thanks.
I've taken this now because the price may well not be there much longer.
I've gone for a miserly £40 because I'm averse to risking too much of Fred's money and I should keep to my word of only making minimum bets unless there is a really compelling case.

The 4th game of the NBA championship starts in 90 minutes.
The Heat lead 2-1 so a win for the Thunder would be really helpful.

crucial time for the Miami lay, if they win this game I think they're nailed on to win the title (think they said no team has ever come from 3-1 down to win it). Currently 79-77 to Miami with 11 mins to go in the 4th, close....

Wow, great game, farcical finish, looked like one of the OKC players didn't know the rules, he deliberately fouled when he didn't need to and the Heat hit the free-throws to get out of sight, 3-1, first to 4, that bet's being read its last rites as we speak

I watched the entire game Jeff - now I'm totally hooked!

Incredibly exciting.

Mr Tikay. You have expressed an interest in the total goals market for Euro 2012. So far there have been 60, with 7 games remaining. The current spread for goals is 75-76.
