We have just had the absolute daddy of all hailstorms here in Osterley, which is near Chiswick, West London. (I explained the location for stray Fenlanders itt who struggle with the geography).

Roads are totally flooded, fire engines pumping out houses & shops galore, the whole lot, so chances of any play in the Middlesex game today are slim to slimmer.

SORT IT OUT Tighty.

Is the hosepipe ban off then?

Im betting on it...oh wait...

Seeing as we're snooker loopy at the mo i'll weigh in with my first selection that is a nice price and should give us something to cheer on for a while.

You can back the Top 2 in the world (Judd Trump & Mark Selby) to meet in the final @ 16/1 with Coral (as short as 10/1 with the sponsors Betfred)

Clearly this is not as cut and dried as a sport like tennis, but Trump has a pretty tidy path through to the final with the exception of Higgins (hence his short outright price) and Selby has been the clear form man all season so am taking him to frank that form over the long match format.  The link below shows his clear ranking points advantage:

Not one to tie up fortunes in, but think a £20 wager seems reasonable.

Wot not Darts?

Nothing yet, but our Darts Corry only puts them up if he sees the right value, so we'll have to wait & see.

Ladbrokes now re-opened the book, & are still 12/1.

I might quailfy to be older rather than elder.  And I don't know a lot about gee-gees.  But I had 2 strong fancies today, Trumpet Major and Salacia.  After-timed the first one, but Salacia is 4/1 generally available for 5:20 Newmarket and looks thrown in to me.  Possibly a better thing than Henderson at the festival Smiley

£25 on the schnozzle imo.
