Wait for team news? Look at Liverpool's line up from last night.  FA cup final on Saturday.

Possibly, but I seem to recall that Chelsea dropped most of their Barca heroes last weekend, & still managed to scrape past an admittedly hapless QPR.

Also, I am a fool, waiting for team news would be wise if backing Chelsea, if backing the Toon, the price will only come down won't it. Ignore me!

Wouldn't leave the Bolton bet too long, I envisage the 4.4 won't last.

The match I want to get with Bolton is when Muamba either tuns up at the stadium or at training the day before a game.

"Win this one for me" he'll say.

Can't imagine a bigger motivational tool.

Wonder when Coyle will use his trump card.

Good point, will be interesting.

'Fabrice Muamba could attend Bolton v Tottenham match'

Bolton win is currently about 3/1....

Found it.

To whom shall we attribute this bet? Camel, Horneris, or Womble? Who first came up with the suggestion?

The original idea of it was Camel, I merely remembered the suggestion and flagged up when the visit is planned to happen, and the current odds for the win.

Good spot, & seeminngly correct, & very gracious of you.

The bet gets attributed to Camel.

Note I just punted £30 on it "on spec", assuming no change of heart mind, but I'm pretty sure it's not a terrible investment.

How much do Chelsea care about the FA Cup?  Isn't Abramovich obsessed with the Champions League? Is he not more likely to play his full team tonight  in order to finish top four?

In case they don't win the Champions League they have to secure their place in the tournament next season so perhaps they'll put the YTS lads and a lucky fan who's won the "play at wembley" raffle out for the cup final so he can put a full strength team out next week when they Liverpool at Anfield who will be weakened by having to play their best side in the final?

Loving these High-Tech Going reports.

Just awaiting the St Ives Garden report from the Fenland punterer now & we will have a secret weapon to crush those horrible bookies with. .

St Ives is in the fens, I'm from St Neots, which is approx 25 miles WEST of Newmarket. And not in the fens at all.

My back garden is paved with a pond in it, so hard, waterlogged patches seems pretty close.

Where's this heavy rain forecast imo? Met office go with some rain tonight and then dry until the Guineas's?

2 centuries in the bag 1 to go. 138 for Jones.

On the downside 13-5 and 13-2 are not great for total frames.

We are, but I can't recall if we are on centuries in the match, or just Carter centuries. In case it matters, who scored it?

We're on total centuries - both players.
Jones scored this one (and the first one).

By my reckoning, we have 9 frames "in hand" with 4 results to come on the 590-610 total frames bet.

Jamie Jones v Ali Carter

Tables are great for scoring. Very high century count so far in the tournament.

Jones has 3/5 of the top breaks and 4 centuries in 2 games. 2 in each game. Carter has 3 centuries 2 in rd 1, 1 in rd 2 but was playing Trump so more cautious.

Paddy power are 11/10 over 2.5 centuries.

Robertson (5) v O'sullivan (2) is 4/6 over 3.5 and some line are 4.5 !!! I guess starpower over rides the facts but it makes 11/10 +2.5 look phenomenal.

Couldn't put anyone off of Jones +4.5 frames in the handicap with betvictor 8/11 either  (plenty firms are 8/11 +3.5)

Sandy

Like, looks as nailed on as today's Puny cricket bet. Time to commence the recovery mission.

Thanks Sandy, nice Tighty-style analysis.

We have £50 with PP @ 11/10, over 2.5 centuries, Jones v Carter.
