Gonna suggest a darts punt, but with reasoning;

Back Hamilton to win title @ 18/1

Hamiltons semi is vs Whitlock. Hamilton has played his best game last few weeks whereas Whitlock has been relatively poor. Also Whitlock has never beaten Hamilton on tv

Hamilton will probably go on to meet Taylor in the final (the sticky bit)

However Hamilton will be on a high, and will start quickly. Taylor doesn't like playing catch up and if he is ever going to get beat it will be a to quick starter who makes him tighten up. Taylor has also been title less for sometime and could feel the heat.

Also if wadey beats Taylor the bet will look ok.

So £10 on Hamilton @ 18/1 (it's a punt with logic, not sure Dubai would endorse)

Just to confirm, Guy, the thread ARE on.

£10 @ 18/1, Hamilton.

ON

In reality, I never actually got the bet on, I'm afraid.....got a bit waylaid with this & that.....but I accepted your Tip, & I said I would place it, so it counts as a Thread Bet, win or lose.

 scared.

good swerve!

Phew, I'm kind of glad in a way!

Not so good is the fact that we had a proper bet on the match, £80 I think, and that went down the pan.

How did that "most 180's" bet I also missed get on?

Another phew.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry here.

Wait till Hawkins or Shallow turn up, there'll be murders. I blame MANTIS.

I'm having a mare. Didnt get to see match but from following it on live update it looked like Hamilton had plenty of chances but didn't take them. Sigh.

No worries Bazza, we are all having a bad day.

There'll be no "woe is me" moany stuff on this thread though, it's like poker, if you cant take the swongs & swings, best not play.

Tomorrow will be better.

Not checked today's Golf bets yet, we might have won the world.

Aye up, the man has arrived, watch what we say, & don't mention that earlier business......

I'm sure Mere, if around, will oblige with the averages. Good Luck Mr S.
