In other ESC news the Russian grannies didn't perform well in the dress rehearsal for the semi final today. The stove had smoke coming out of it and the vocals were a bit off.  Tho according to the blog the camera work is good and makes the most of the small one with no teeth.

2 max bets if you can get on with vc

Cole to start v France 1/7
Gerrard to start v France 1/6

Both are surely reliant on avoiding injuries, so should be 1-50

On the Tip that Dubai just gave, or any bet? No to the Dubai bet (as yet).

I have a regular account on that Site, & I use it frequently.

What are the thoughts on this bet?

Victor refund up to £50 on the outright market for euro 2012 if spain win.

Could split the stake £33 on germany and £17 on Holland.

I currently have very limited computer access due to a virus, so the Daily Summary and Update will not be until later today.

For now, suffice to say, we made a profit yesterday, thanks to Hector. Smiley

Normal service will be resumed shortly, as to Updates, and losing days.

I like the idea of taking advantage of the offer but I think the value on Germany was gone a long time ago and could never back them @ the 11/4 with vc.

I would much prefer just backing Holland at the 13/2.

I'm hoping Germany or Holland make a surprise group stage exit though as on Portugal big @ 25s.

Whitby Jet, 5.30 Lingfield tomorrow

Now 9-1 with Ladbrokes. They were 12-1 briefly a bit earlier but this is still too big.

Very unlucky loser on his AW comeback under a typically terrible Shane Kelly ride before getting stuck in the mud. Best this time last year too and spring horses so often come back year after year. Ryan Moore takes over. I put him in at 4-1.

This is all very lovely but what about the big event tonight? Eurovision semis, i see boyles/stans esp are way outa line on some prices compared to betty.

Serbia obv look a dirty ew bet for the 2nd semi, any thoughts? Can put it in official thread if ud like. I think cyprus as low as 10s for the first semi are a decent ew price 1/4 odds first 3 at 22s. And Estonia for the 2nd one at 25s looks ok too. Maybe an ew dble ftw. Wld be jackpot returns. Tikay im not reccing this for this thread btw, just getting chomps thoughts.

Edit-looks like they dont allow ew dbles on this, meh. Guess it's a related bet.

This long before the race, last price matched is more of and indication of what price the horse should be than the current to back price.

Never any liquidity on ******* for a lowly handicap the following afternoon at this time. Won't be until late evening.
