2 out of 5 matches have been draws in the knock out stages of Euro 2012- very close to the 42% that Mr Pullein predicted. 4 out of 5 have had less than 2 1/2 goals. I feel the extra rest that the Germans have had will be important and will be a case of is the Italian defence able to withstand the German assault and get to penalties? My gut feeling is not. Not yet looked at prices but expect lots of Italian bookings, few Italian shots/goals. The Germans created shed loads of chances against Greece and they were meant to have a decent defence.
All 3 golfers started well. Did you really do McDowell e/w and not win? It's no biggie but it does make greening out harder to do. And we know how much our leader enjoys a good green out.
Guilty as charged - couldn't help myself.

How well does Ivo Karlovic play nowadays? Is Murray really going to win in 3 sets?

Aside from the Greece game Gemany have lost corners in 3 games. Italy have won Corners 3 times and lost to Spain.
Bet365 are standout @ 15/8. It's 5/4 with Bluesq and 888.

Avoid at all costs. Quite likely only Murray will win a set unless I'm mis-reading something.

Euro2012 Finalists Virtual Bet.
I believe that the first thing that needs to happen is for Spain to win their group today. If they come second they would end up with a semi-final against Germany assuming both teams got that far.
The current best odds for this are 1.21 on Betfair so I have invested ten groats on this.
It was a close run thing but we got there when Jesus Navaz scored in the 88th minute for Spain. We now have 12 groats (after Betfair commission). The next game for this "accumulator" is on Friday when Germany meet Greece. Germany are currently 1.17 on Betfair to qualify (also StanJames and Ladbrokes). I'll wait to see if the odds improve before re-investing my 12 groats. We have 12 groats on Germany to qualify at 1.17 with Ladbrokes. The best price now available is 1.14. We now have 14 groats. I have placed it all on Spain to qualify against France @ 1.4 on Ladbrokes. We now have 19.6 groats. Spain are currently 1.47 on Betfair to qualify against Portugal. I have placed 19.6 groats on Spain to qualify @ 1.49 on Betfair We now have 28.74 groats (after Betfair commission). I'm placing it all on Germany to qualify @ 1.44 on Betfair.

Doesn't that actually conclude the point of the exercise because we now know that if Germany win the combined odds would have paid more than the 13/5 we were originally advised to bet? It is just over 3/1 before commission.

You are totally right. I was wondering whether to post that. Thanks for your earlier post on this topic too. Presumably it is a general feature that these markets like "name the finalists" are not good prices. It's just that not many of us are able to price up the individual markets as accurately as you so we make errors in our judgements.

Levine is being a dickhead. Huge call went against him at 4-5 30-40 in the second set when he appeared to have hit an ace which was called out and since then hes just melted.

I am just tipping Germany for an outright win at 10/11.
Also, cards bet Italy over 3 was 29/20 last time I looked. Clean slate for Italians regards to cards, up against tournament favourites and they average 2.75 a match. I am however thinking that prices is not as big as it should be.
