I'm not sure if you caught it yesterday on R5 but there was a 2-hour precis(not sure if that's the correct word) of the Olympic Games' commentaries just after lunchtime, it was fantastic.
I just had it on my radio as background while I was concentrating on other stuff.

Greyhound Racing.
Sawpit Sensation finished THIRD in his Irish Derby heat last night, see...

I think that means we are out, but I've left the bet on the sheet just in case. We had £20 on him to win the Derby. Hopefully, I am wrong, & top three qualify!
Nah, we´re through. Do not fear. Another solid time but I´d obv like to see us winning some heats. Quarters on Saturday. Sweat on?

The Golf has been suspended due to torrential rain, & flooded greens, fairways & bunkers.
What happens if they cannot resume today? Do they return tomorrow, or draw a line under it as of end of the third round?

How does £20 on the Wildcats @ 15/8 return £77.50?
I want to bet there!

I think we (myself included) assumed Mo had seeped into the consciousness of the Premier League footballer...possibly not, too busy in Nandos, watching BB, TOWIE and CBB.....possibly.
That and it would need to be a British player rather than a foreigner which reduces the field further.

Daily Report as @ 2200, Sunday August 19th
Another small profit today, just £52.50, but that'll do.
We only placed 2 bets today, effectively one bet with a fiver saver. The bet was from hector, who tipped Wakefield Trinity to upset the odds, & after a yoyo match, they did exactly that. Net profit on that was £52.50, after we deducted the fiver saver on the drawn game.
Our weekend Golf bet on Nick Colsaert also continued to look promising, but play has been suspended, maybe even abandoned for the day, so that will be settled in Monday's numbers.
The MOBOT football bet looks to be in trouble, there MAY be one more match to come, but the T & C's of the bet are not very clear. At best, we may gt one more chance tomorrow. £45 is at risk, so not a disaster.
Our "Man City to win their first 6 Premiership games" bet begun today, & after a bit of a scare, we ticked off the first win. Just 5 to go then.
In Cycling, in the
la vuelta
, I have no idea how our man, Joaquim Rodriguez is getting on, but the classification after Day Two is here. I looked for our man, but the eyes must be playing up, as I cannot see him. Note the website is in foreign, which is disgraceful, do they not know we only speak English?
http://www.lavuelta.com/12/es/resultados/index.html?e=2
Finally, in Cricket, our Test Max continued to thrill, what a great game it has been, & we go into Day 5 full of hope, & with every chance. Tighty did us proud there, whatever Mr Curmudge, aka Car Park Nirvana, says.
Here's Amla. As Chandra Khujari might say,
what a playaaaaaa

Edited/corrected now.
My apologies.

Good point - I doubt anyone considered that.

Think if Balotelli had scored he might have done it.
