A bit harsh.

I said green out on Ellie Simmonds because 33/1 on her to win SPOTY was the most ridic price ever. She is around 100 now, and still a lay imo. She cannot win.

Re the Murray bet.

I backed him to win 3-0 at 5/1 half way through the first set and pressed up at 4/1 at the start of the second.

At the start of the third set he was around 6/5, 5/4. I now thought this was too short. I thought he should be 7/4 or 2/1.

So I greened out. I didn't green out purely to take a profit, I greened out because I thought it was value to do so!

And that might be the worst picture ever of Ms Pendleton.

Since about a month before the Olympics I have had a picture of Jessica Ennis in her GB kits as my screensaver.  I realise that it is time to move on and have been mulling what to use next but deep down I just can't let go of the Olympics.  The above picture is the perfect compromise.  Thanks.

I bet she must have the asphyxiating power of a couple of boa-constrictors in those thighs.

Not a bad way to go mind you.

Excellent advice, and one you won't hear often from the tennis "traders" on the betfair forum.  Greening out or closing a spreadbet is the making of a second bet, and should only be done if the price is value.  Otherwise, you are at best paying bid/offer, or at worst making a bad value bet.

A few games caught my eye on the upcoming Saturday programme, but I’ve stuck up the one I am most confident about.  My anticipated move to back Watford at Bolton won’t come about as 3/1 doesn’t seem sufficient odds to test my theory about a team that were thrashed ten days ago.

Anyway, the team I want to back is Brighton at home to Sheff Weds.  Wednesday have looked pretty good in patches this season since their promotion, but their away form has been a draw at Derby, and a defeat at Palace last time out, who are a team I really think will struggle.

In between, yes they have looked good at Hillsborough beating Birmingham and Millwall by the odd goal in five, but a trip to the Amex will test to the full how they have acclimatised to the new level, and they have conceded 2 goals in every game this season.

I often like to back teams who are coming into form, especially in the first quarter of the season.  Brighton started with a 1-0 defeat at Hull, before being held 0-0 at home by a strong Cardiff team.  However, their last two games have seen thumping wins over Barnsley at home (5-1) and Burnley away (3-1).

This game looks perfect to build on this momentum for Poyet’s side against a team still finding their feet on their travels in the Championship.

Recommendation:  Brighton to beat Sheff Weds at Evens.

OK, Keith, OK.

Here is my peace offering intended to bring a cessation to official sulk-mode.

I shall now spend the evening musing on what thigh-thoughts it may inspire Ralphy to, too.
