I can see where you are coming with regards to my Villa bet there talking about Lambert & their current status in PL. but they was still in the same position months ago & still decided to put teams out in the League Cup.
FWIW, I do think he will put a team out. A perfect opportunity to get a result here. But can understand if Fred is not getting on.

We have not yet decided Aaron.
It is good to chuck these things about for a while, &, hopefully, eventually make the right decision.

To what do you attribute Newcastle's woes this season Patrick?
What is your view on the progress Pardew is making on the long-term future of the Team, & backroom?

Thoughts on the standard liverpool lay too? Oddschecker shows they've contracted a little bit.
I have bet this again. They do seem to be playing a bit better recently though and Sunderland are pretty bad. I dont love it but I do make it value so......
Reds,
Are you just chewing the cud there, or suggesting a small interest?
My personal criteria for advising bets to Fred is generally that i expect an ROI of over 8% on them otherwise I would end up advising a LOT of bets and this doesn't fit that criteria but in terms of if others liked it then i do make it value.....if that makes sense?
I understand perfectly, & I am deffo not urging you to recommend, far from it.
Far & few between, but selective, is right up my street.
If I had more time, I think we would change the criteria substantially, as you do, & "horsey style", & go for little & often, but I just don't have the time at the moment.

I think the current approach works well for Fred and for the site as a whole. If you have too many bets it would stifle the discussion a bit and also the thinner bets are much more difficult to explain and often are just about a single rogue price or a feel. They are also much harder to get a feel for. A bit like thin value river bets in poker are one of the harder things to do consistently well I suppose.

Is Jenni Falcolner related to John?
Is she grumpy?

Demba Ba and Europe.
It's funny, teams try very hard to get into Europe and its usually their biggest demise. They rest their big players in Europe, their younger players genuinely sturggle and get burned out and eventually, with lots of travelling, you lose 1/4 - 1/5th of your squad, for many teams in the "second zone" liek Everton, Villa, Swansea, Newcastle etc losing even 3 players can be huge, losing 8 is a disaster.
A lot of our positives came from Cisse playing as a number 9, he is an out and out goalscorer with not much footballing ability but played as a number 9 he will score 20 a season. He was pushed out to the right wing to accomodate and please Ba who can play perfectly well on the wing.
Cisse scored 2 goals? And performed terribly, losing confidence and wasn't able to help our very weak, and actual weak link of the team Simpson. We continued to score goals, 3 against Arsenal, 3 against Man United but we were terrible AS A UNIT going back (Demba Ba is very good going back) and thus we conceded far too many goals, Betting the over 2.5 in every game with Cisse and Ba in it would have probably made you a lot of money.
Now Ba decides to sit out tongiht selfishly, when he could do things tomorrow, this is a HUGE match, its too late for us to change the team formation and structure as Pardew had to train the team as a defensive unit so changing from 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-2 would be terrible, especially against Everton at such short notice so instead we play Shola as a lone man up top and probably will play badly and thus lots of poor confidence going into a relegation dogfight.
Ba out, Debuchy (very good French international right back) and a few other signings and we will be fine.

debuchy is a cracking right back
unfourtantley he is not very good at defending infact he positively avoids it
should create more than a few but dont rely on him helping the centre backs to much

Less likely to find value in the Premier League than anywhere else in British.
But not impossible imo.

We most certainly did, and we will generally hold that line.
I will explain the apparent inconsistency later if I may, after the football. And after, I now hope, Everton have failed to win.
Incidentally, I could now take an £18 profit on that bet as of now if I so desired. How clever is that?
