if you are picking a team Tony  (much better not to as it is more fun imo to love them all)  you must take care and give it thought, you don't want to be stuck supporting the Brown's coz it's your fav colour, or the Bill's coz it was your grandad's name, your team is with you for a lifetime ;o)

I bet Tal wishes he could choose again!

As for crowd trouble who can forget the frankly terrible snowball throwing incident in Cleveland one year when fans vented their frustration by throwing snowballs at the players, that's about as close as it gets.

So now you have to pick a team, Tikay.

Just pick any old random team in the AFC East beginning with B.

I disagree with this.

One of the reason I love NFL so much is I am totally unbiased and can watch the games totally impartially.

It means I appreciate a good play whoever makes it, and I'm totally ambivalent to who I bet on.

Obviously I hate the Seahawks though.

Amen, except for the Seahawks bit, obv.

When I watch Fooball in the English Leagues, no matter who the 2 teams are, I'm always biased because I like one more than the other. Not good for objective viewing. Fans can be & usuallly are, so one-eyed.

Utterly disgraceful. Was there swearing, too? Terrible.......

I only attended one game, in Hawaii of all places, & it was such a great day. Not just a game, a whole day, the barby in the car park, pre, ht & post game entertainment., everything. It really is the circus coming to town.

With the NFL season about to end, the first time I have ever watched it properly, & researched the game, the players, the venues & the structure of the game, it has been an eye-opener compared with what we might call "conventional" football as played the world over.

Most up, I like that the players, despite taking some bone-crunching knocks, never feign injury, unlike the footballers who do their triple axels to gain an unfair advantage.

You were in Hawaii at a ball game?

I was there on holiday.

I had never flown, as I was petrified of flying, so I just went into a bucket shop one day & booked a flight to Honolulu, Oahu.

I stayed in an hotel overlooking Waikiki Beach, and a bunch of HUGE blokes checked in one day. I was intrigued, why so many well-built giants all of a sudden?

It turned out they were in town for the "Hula Bowl" or somesuch. College Football, I think.

I had to go watch, & I did.

The Stadium blew me away, better than anything I had ever seen in Europe, almost to this day (it was in around 1982 I think), & was configured for both MLB & American Football, it was called "Aloha Stadium".

Wasn't there a team owner who complained about paper airplanes being thrown onto the field.

And the next home game everyone threw one onto the field as a protest.

Or am I getting mixed-up?*

So I see. Glad to get Holtby on board. Would like to see us add a striker but in Levy we trust.

I grew up with the NFL occasionally having highlights on the television and then of course Mr Sugar (as he then was) negotiated the London Monarchs' residence at WHL. When you hear the name Buffalo Bills and that they aren't awful, it's a foregone conclusion that this is your team when you are under ten years old. (Thin)

It doesn't dent my enjoyment of the game, as it's really just a focal point - the team whose results I squeeze first on a Monday morning and the TDs I cheer in when they pop up on redzone.

I enjoy the sport and like seeing it done well. So I am happy to watch the Pats or the Dolphins (less so the Jets as they do my nut in) and anyone else (yes, apart from Seattle Smiley ) as long as it's good to watch.

Would prefer it if the Bills could pass 500 but there we go.

Been a spurs fan for long enough to expect the odd sad moment
