Senseless team selection from Zola I'm afraid.

All those weeks of great results undone. Madness

I'd get it if we had played a few FA cup games this month, but it just seemed to be tinkering for the sake of it.  Very frustrating.

Relegation market interesting

QPR pick up 6 points in 4 games, and a really good point tonight

Still 4-5 points off safety depending on goal diff and 4/7 to drop

Big point for Wigan tonight too

QPR v Norwich at the weekend (QPR evens, Norwich 3/1!) is a big game for the relegation bet

Tighty, Birmingham are 4/1 to get relegated from the Championship:

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/relegation

On its face, they are probably priced about right. Very inconsistent and seem only to win when everyone around them does as well, they are short in a number of departments and, when they are bad, they are woeful.

They're also in a financial pickle. They probably should have taken the 10point hit last season but the playoffs came around and it was too late. Now they face the possibility of shedding the wage bill in the next day or so and, from the fans I frequently have to listen to at work and around, they are almost without exception convinced that administration is very likely this season. They hope they can hold on until June, but it is a genuine threat in their eyes.

Ten points off Birmingham's total is a heck of a challenge and 4/1 becomes 1/2.

Exchange says 46/11 so a smidgette (one smaller than a smidge) better.

What do you reckon?

Like the idea. Barnsley and bristol c improving fast. We know Birmingham have to sell in the next 48 hours and admin would seal a winning bet.

Thanks Tal.

While the experts debate this, (with respect, you support 5pur2), I have had £20 @ 5.4 via Betfair, that price could go anywhere tomorrow.

I originally tried Blue Square (9/2) but they restricted me to.....£5.

888 also went 9/2, but I don't seem to have an Account there.

We have £20 @ 5.4, Betfair, (the smidgette route) Birmingham to be relegated.

ON

(Will C & P Betslip later, bit busy right now).

Shame the Newcastle bet got the   treatment, maybe my fault for not making separate posts. No way Sissoko will ever be 25/1 again, loosk really dangerous, guessing the bookies hadn't seen much of him

One of those situations where, if they go into administration, 5.4 is a monster, but if not, we still have a price that is fine.

tbf he has not scored many goals last two or so seasons

25-1 was a smidgen big but they would have just seen his 3 goals in his last 55 or so games nothing special for a midfielder

the fact he played more advanced was a good spot/educated guess though

3 in his last 45 and 20 in 180 in total, probably about due. I follow all the nufc journos on twitter so once the team was announced they basically tweeted it looked likely he'd be playing fairly adavanced. Defo value at anything over 14/16s in future games

Not my debut Tikay, posted a winning tip last season but nonetheless lets do a win!

You did, I had to check back to find it - you gave us Swindon, away to Barnet, in April, which won @ 17/20, & we had £50 on.

So you were 1 from 1. Nice.

Post more please, I thought that bet last night was incredible value. The corner count at half-time was 0-0, & Stoke seemed to be well in charge, so 8/5, Stoke most corners, looked a steal.

Amazingly, after 90 minutes, & 4 goals, the Corner count was exactly ONE, which went to Wigan.

Luckily, Bet365 cut me back from my requested £25 to £6.25, so they saved us a few bob there.

I don't know about other but checking the thread has become part of the daily ritual in recent months.  Has definitely proved entertaining as well as educational, especially the views on the Superbowl and I will probs be watching it on the weekend because of this!

Glad to hear it, & I hope you enjoy Superbowl as much as we.....hope to.
