Looking at upcoming fixtures and see watford are playing mid week at bottom of the table Bristol city.  Watford are in red hot form right now, and although Bristol city got a result today I think a lot of people will be backing watford at 6/5.  I'd expect the price to fall a bit when it comes to game time. Watford are the leagues top away scorers, Bristol city are the have the leagues worst defence.

I backed watford today so obviously have a soft spot for them, fred didn't go for that bet though but went for the over 2.5 goals choice.  I think it's a little short here at 4/6 maybe, well not short but at that price it doesn't tickle my fancy.

Watford goals over 1.5 @ 5/6 I like @ bet365
Watford win at 6/5 I like @paddy power
Watford to score in both halves I like abit more at 15/8 @paddy power

Thoughts from blondes as to as to which bet if any suits fred are more than welcome.

Some decent bets there.

over 2.5 goals is 4/5 and I think that is value too, considering Watford are scoring for fun, bang in form and Bristol City can not keep a clean sheet. It is probably a max for me on Tuesday.

Price update on this, watford over 1.5 goals is now evens at corals.

watford to score in both halves bluesquare go 12/5.

Am i missing something here or are they very good value?

This was my original thought on the Watford game.  No one seemed to surprised by the prices at the time.  Unsure of current prices as I'm at work, I do know there is noire evens tho for over 1.5 Watford goals as of when I checked last night, also the Watford to win price of 6/5 wasn't around anymore.

Ahh, it was you who tipped this result originally, sorry, I could not remember who it was.

Watford's price is now 10/11 best, & Watford to score 2 or more is also odds-on.

I have an uneasy feeling about this game, no real reason why, but unfortunately, we've missed the market now.

Your Destiny's Child bet is reminding me of one of my fave ever bets. It was the final of Big Brother that evening and Divina was on the Chris Moyles show while I was in the shower. He was taking the mickey saying everyone will be dressed up and you'll have your usual black dress on, she replied because it was a special occassion she had a sparkly white number just to impress him. When I got to work had a little check up of the prices on BB, saw the novelty markets and she was 7/1 to wear white, even tho she'd said she was wearing white live on the radio!

Seen pics of Beyonce rehearsing, but not a dress reshearsal, pics on instagram. Shame u can't get a bet on them wearing khaki, they're doing Survivor which was always performed in khaki, and the yanks love getting the army/forces involved in everything.

I really like Newcastle at Villa tonight, am in Newcastle and all the local news/chat has been about how great these new signings are, they've brought a fresh impetus to the club, all the players have been lifted etc etc. Read interviews with two of them and they're saying all the right things, fully fit, bang in form, determined to impress and get Newcastle back up the table, one of them was asked if he'd joined Newcastle as a stepping stone to playing for a big club in England. He said I've joined one of the big clubs. All positive. When u compare to Villa, out of both clubs to lower league clubs, crowd ready to turn, manager who won't speak to the local press....all of the non form-related factors point to Newcastle (both teams in pretty bad form anyway). Not looked at prices, just throwing it out there, I don't really bet on football but just struck me all the positivity going into this game up here

Wink

Good luck Keith.

Watford are worthy favourites to win, but the price seems a bit too tight.

Good luck to those on Watford, too, of course!

Hi Keith,

Has 'Arry lost the plot and named two goalkeepers on the bench or is it a typo for Murphy and should it be Mackie?

Not a typo.

Weird one.

Mackie nowhere to be seen - and not been reported injured, hope he's not leaving.

Sissoko 25/1 is also too big in the Newcastle game, his record at Toulouse was okay. He's also a big lump, Villa not great at defending from set pieces as Fred knows. He could even be playing off Cisse, tho more likely that will be Cabaye and Sissoko central

Fuming at Zola a little.  It's not like we have played that many games this month to make so many changes.

Rumours of Norwich or Fulham, or perhaps being offered to Stoke to get Peter Crouch back...

That was suggested on the wireless today. If it is in the Sun tomorrow, it must be true.
