I don't know if we can bet on 888 - but Swann is 13/4 to be Top England Bowler...and 11/2 to be top bowler from both teams.

If we like this bet - William Hill are 11/2 as well which is best price.

Paddy Power have a Football Special as to which team will score the most goals of the opening weekend of the Premier League. Chelsea are at home to Hull - they are 9/2. Seems a good punt to me - anyone have any thoughts? Next best is Man City (away to Cardiff) at 6/1. Likely to be one of those two surely? Maybe have a bit on each?

Afternoon Mr Mere.

A fantastic rugby league match tonight with Warrington hosting Wigan, the 2 best teams and both in form. Wigan have been unlucky with injuries and have a couple of key people missing tonight. If this was the grand final I would side with Wigan as I feel they have a better team spirit, but it is just a league game. I think home advantage will enable Warrington to win the game but at odds of 2/5 they do not appeal. Instead I prefer them to win by 12 points or less as  Wigan have the best defence in super league.

Suggest £20 Warrington to win by 12 points or less @ 2-1 with Paddy Power.

The Milkman delivers again

Lol yes I was looking at the wrong part of the screen for City! Even more of a reason to go for Chelsea then.

I quite like the idea of using the WilliamHill free bet at 11/2 for top bowler from both teams.

If, as expected, Australia struggle they are likely to take less wickets in total and also change their bowling attack which will mean less chance of one of their bowlers taking this down. They also lack a quality spinner.

Morning Mr M.

Today's Lions match has an odd feel to it. I started off wanting to find a try scorer at a price I liked but the only ones I thought were value, Hibbard and Kearney, are likely to be subbed. I think that Barritt may be a decent bet and should at least play the whole game. I then had an about face and decided that with the wholesale changes to the team likely at half time that the way to go was to go low on points.

Today's team has an all English midfield, and they failed to register a try in 6 nations matches against Italy,Ireland and Wales. Looking at the back row they are of the workhorse type and not very creative. I think the Lions will be happy to just register a win and head off to the 2nd test with no further injuries.

Suggest under 60.5 points £18 @ 5/6  with Spreadex.

One bet yesterday, one winner for £40 as the Milkman picked the winner/margin in the pulsating Warrington/Wigan game

Today, the Lions play their final midweek game. England play New Zealand in the first of two eccentrically scheduled T20 games

Quite like this too

Starc and Siddle and Pattinson should be the starting Aussie attack. They would be doing well to get more wickets in the series than Anderson, though I rate Starc in particularly highly. I like Swann at a price over five Tests v Anderson. Anderson over Broad and Finn/Bresnan could well split the five Tests in terms of selection

Morning hector62,

I can only get £10.93 with SpreadEx.
Bet365 have 10/11 for under 59.5. Does that appeal as a top-up/alternative?
It's quite a bit better price for the loss of just one point.

Jesus spreadex restrict you as well  for £10. These firms really don't deserve to exist. Take the alternative.

Really want to be against England in the cricket. It's the worst international squad I've ever seen us pick, just worried New Zealand at end of long tour and been on the beers. If I knew thy were 100% committed would be a max bet at odds against for each game
