Anybody able to post the Stats form the PSG game from Sunday Night.
I had PSG on a 9 Team Accumulator. All very short priced.
PSG were the only ones to bust me.
The Stats are truly incredible.

39 goal attempts vs 1
17 shots on target vs 1
77% possession
Unlucky son, its not often those stats would let you down.

Had same email today, didn't even know I had an account in my name. Havent had a bet on the account they sent it to in at least 2 years. So no idea whats going on
I got the same email from Fred and I can't bet more than about £1.20 on that account so it wasn't much of an inducement. I also got an email from Coral the other day closing an account I thought was already closed. Surely in these days of 'big data' it isn't that hard to not inundate punters you have effectively closed with totally pointless emails that just make me want to punish them more....

A bit unlucky with Icher who was 2 up through 11 but looked iffy on 18 when they shook hands. Phew.

Daily Report
Profit on Month £519.06
Outstanding Bets £3122.06
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=28
Yesterday was a disappointing day with a loss of over £116
Included in that were a raft of Golf bets: No Hole in One at the Wyndham, despite a 68 to finish Stroud ended 37th, Pressel in the Solheim cup and a thread tally of W1 D 2 L3 on the Solheim Cup singles.
When I went to bed the Singles matches looked like producing a profit, and it looks like we were a bit unlucky in the back nine run-out, particularly in matches like Salas, Icher and Korda. A couple of those coming in would have made all the difference
The Spanish football matches produced a small combined profit as Real Madrid's new signing from Malaga Isco hit the winner in the 86th minute to seal a win with BTTS against Betis whilst earlier Levante struggled to give us any sort of sweat against Barcelona
The Dripping Tap was turned on again as Justin Carney scored a try for Castleford. Think this is three times in three bets he has done so for the Tap.
Exciting baseball news. The Rays beat the Blue Jays with another walk off home run in extra innings. This is the tird extra innings win in five games and the tenth of the season
Meanwhile, The Red Sox lost to the Yankees having been ahead
Consequently the Rays are only one game behind the Red Sox in the AL East, and are top placed team for a wild card anyway.
Sadly for many, the baseball will be a bit remote to follow in the absence of UK TV coverage, but this is one of the biggest and best sweats the thread has ever had
Amongst new bets placed yesterday, we are on Nadal for the US open shortly before he won the Cincinnati Masters. Cincy was Nadal's 26th Masters win and his 5th of 2013 alone
Up to World Number 2 again, this is his record this year which includes 15-0 record on the hard courts....
W W W L W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W L W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W W L W W W W W W W W W W.
The Last loss was at Wimbledon, and The Tap has him as favourite for New York
Meanwhile in the NFL, The Dolphins leading TightEnd Dustin Keller tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and dislocated his knee in a pre-season game. So thats a tear of all three knee ligaments at once. Ouch.
Finally, a reminder. There are four free bets to use this week. The spreadsheet linked above has a tab for Free bets where you can see amounts and expiries and returns from these bets

Nicola cortese led a team of wealthy investors, buying Southampton out of admin. Two promotions and 36m of spend this off-season, cortese has designs on the top six. Very ambitious club now
We should have backed them.
I did spot the value but too late fred was already on us going down
Keep on seeing posts regretting this Southampton bet (to go down), yet the price doesn't seem to be getting a mention....now we have one that says there's "value" in backing them. Been thinking this every time I read one of these posts....this is pretty ice creamy thinking.
If you regret backing Southampton to go down coz u don't think they will, I take it u won't be interested in pressing if I offer u 100/1 on them to get relegated? Want any at 1000/1, or is the fact u don't see it happening still make it a bad bet?
Similarly, if Ironside has spotted value in backing Southampton to make the top 6, I'm laying as much as u want at 1/100....fill your boots, value like this is hard to spot.
I didn't suggest backing Southampton to go down, but I did think it was a price I wouldn't fancy laying at 10/1. Presumably u boys who think it was a bad bet think the price on Southampton to go down should have been, what, 16/1? 20s? Now they've had the best possible start, an away win coupled with all the relegation rivals losing, what would u lay, 25s?
Morning Jeff.
I don't think anyone is bring serious about the Southampton bet being bad, it's just craic. The bet is on, too late for regrets.
If it goes badly wrong, then expect to see more of the same, it's just banter.
We had this last Season, when Eso Ice Cream got us on Walsall to be relegated/promoted/win the cup/lose the cup/do anything/do nothing (all lost) & we teased him mercilessly. If Southampton stay up, Fun4Fraser, who recommended the bet, will get exactly the same treatment. For £30, it'll be worth it.
Incidentallly, I see from this morning's "Tony Awards" in "The Game" in the Times, that Southampton fielded THREE English 18 year olds in their team on Saturday, all of whom were products from their Youth Academy. How good is that?

I've been trying to avoid results but I'm led to believe Lauzon lost which is unbelievable to me. Totally fed an opponent that he should defeat easily. I apologise to anyone who got on tip and will comment further when I see fight.
Johnson was pretty impressive Scotty, I was surprised at how much better he looked than last time I saw him fight.
Finally caught up, Johnson puts in a career best performance, nothing can do about that.
Hope someone followed other selections in article in recommend: 13/2 and 9/5 winners.

As Tighty said in his excellent Report (so much to cover), the back 9 ran out pretty badly for us, but fortunately no damage done, just lost opportunity, the bets looked excellent.
Keep plugging away.

I've just read that Navas's brother has signed for nearby Bury so that plus the fact he now has a wife and child with him (he didn't when he was homesick last time) should help him this time, which is hopefully good news for our assists bet.

Full field for Juddmonte International, York, Wed, 3.40, C 4:
Al Kazeem, Declaration Of War, Rewarded, Hillstar, Toronado, Trading Leather
Doobs has us with 9/2 each way Mr Leather, e/w paying 1,2,3 so 6 runners and the field cutting up was as he suggsted, iirc
I expect the presence of Toronado is unwelcome compared to expectations at the time of placing the bet thouigh

Correct, I dont think the presence of Toronado was anticipated, but it is what it is. We got on at 9/2, & Toronado's presence has knocked our price out to 7/1.
The perils & beauty of ante post betting. Can't have it both ways, cake & eat it, etc.
Victory would be all the sweeter.

"Two up with five to play never wins" is an old golfing match-play adage.
Unfortunately it came true again last night as Lizzie Salas could only come up with a halved match after looking the likely winner throughout.
Back to the drawing-board.
