I can't watch Strictly til after the weekend, so no help with 4/6 I am afraid
The process is as follows
The show ends and the votes are tallied
50% of the score is the judges votes. It appears from Tal that Jacklin has 29 out of 80 and will be bottom 2 on that portion
50% of the score is public phone votes
Aggregate and then the bottom two have to dance off
a) My contention has been that Jacklin a 71 year old golfer living in Florida has no constituency to vote from him in the demographic.
b) Aliona the professional is cute as a button, but young lads would have to vote a lot to keep him out of the bottom 2 when the vote is spread so wide in week 1, 14 couples and you might if a red bloodies male vote for Ola Jordan, typically
the dance off is not going to be easy for an older fella
The show is recorded tonight, at 9pm...and then shown tomorrow night when the evictee is announced
It rarely leaks, sadly
So the two bottom couples dance off...and then the four judges vote for one to leave.....Head judge Len has the casting vote in a 2-2 tie
Unless Jacklin improves, he would be voted out 4-0
First though, get him in the bottom 2

Jacklin will likely be bottom of the leaderboard after a...troublesome Charleston. It also wasn't that interesting. 13 out of 40 to go with last week's 16.
Natalie Gumede to follow
You do realise there is football on the telly right?
I saw you on the strictly thread. Don't come all innocent to me
No BBC over here in the colonies so had to check on bet somehow. We do, however, have something called Magnum which is a bit like a dancehall reggae X-Factor. It is, like a lot of music over here, very close to the bone and highly sexualised. The Daily Mail would have a field day. They don't bet on it though...sadly.

Cheers tighty, on that basis i would have topped up at 4/6, he is now 1/2 best with ladbrokes. Seems to be some variety in the price for julien mcdonald, as low as 3/1 and as high as 7/1. For now i'm just going to let it ride, thought I might as well post as the time due to ladbrokes being such a big price compared to the 1/4 and 2/9s on offer with other firms.

Lewis won Player Championship 9 today in Dublin, Boyles still have him at 10/1.
His first round opponent in the Grand Prix Brendan Dolan was who he beat in the Final, funny enough.
I feel we should top up as if 10/1 was wrong this morning then it's definitely wrong tonight

Put it this way: if Jacklin goes against McDonald, Jacklin will be leaving. You are probably betting on him to finish in the bottom two after the public vote. That is his best hope.

I am only going on the views of the correspondent Tal min the Strictly thread, but Julien McDonald is my early tip for week 2 eviction, if we can get 2-1+ I am on it
Again, I can't watch it tonight
but a man has to be able to do more than clap his hands winsomely like a seal on helium in this. Has to show the odd manly quality and lead his partner

He might get to do a Latin next week, so be careful on that one.

I picked up my winnings for the Northants County Championship bet today. Thank you very much Tighty.
Thank you Ant 040689 for the Cray bet.
No probs, happy to help. I doubt I will ever find a bet as good as that again.

Posh and Wolves should both be shorter prices for the Johnston's Paintpot. The gulf between the two top and the rest is as wide as for the big boys in the Premiership imo. We're in different sections, so won't meet until the final, if at all.
Darragh really wants a trophy and this tournament won't be a problem, given the Poshy squad size.
I've just gone in at 11-1 after an easy win over Preston today. That's the third unbeaten record we've ended in the last four matches, after also beating MK Donks and Rotherham.
Recommend £20 @ 11-1, various places.
Top work Mr W, thanks.
BET PLACED
Hold on a minute.
How are you putting this bet on so quickly when Chompy is wearing those rose tinted glasses?
Haven't tracked him properly but I bet he has been vowing that Boro are going to get promoted too. Where have I heard this before?

With a big move on Ellis Bextor tonight and Gumede out to 9/4, what is the strategy now on Gumball?
Hold on? take the profit?

Lol, behave. For all his faults, and unfortunate personality traits, Chompy understands one word better than almost anyone I know - VALUE.

Jeez, I get so uncomfy in these spots.
Anyway, will await instructions.
Who got us on Gumball? - Chompster I suppose. The King of Trash TV.

Everyone say hello to Mrs Evans, wife of this Bandit and Mum of young twins
Mrs Evans follows this thread religiously, apparently, and has done well out of a lot of your tips. Keep em coming, she says, via Peter.
Mrs Bandit!
My heroine. You deserve a medal for putting up with him, he makes Channing look cheerful on a bad day.
Give my best to the old sod please.
Stick a bet on here, too. Go on, you know you want to.
Hi Tikay,
Mrs Bandit here. Funny you should mention Channing as I am a massive fan. I just seem to agree with everything he writes . Perhaps I just like grumpy old men.
Obviously a big fan of Channing as a tipster too. I bet everything of his blind, like most of us I guess.
Also love Tighty's stuff and Doobs mathematical bets.
I do the Wiliam Hill and Ladbrokes refund on second bets every day.
I do all the dirty each way races at the shops not online as the big problem is preserving accounts. I'll try to post some on here for people who want to bet in the shops. They really are account closers so not for Fred.
It's not even easy for me to get on in the shops. I had sent Pete round all the Paddy Power shops doing some kind of money back if x wins one of the big races at Cheltenham. I thought well I can help out a bit by doing the shops in Birmingham. I went to Bull Stret and put the bet on then went to Small Heath about 2 miles away and as I handed over the slip the manager said "you can't bet in here", I asked why not and he said because I had just had a bet in Bull Street. It was one offer per person. Pete got on in every shop in London and I could only manage one in Birmingham.
We've got 5 Stan James shops within 5 miles of here if that's any good to any one.
