Ooh!

Looked a winner 2 out, but made a slight mistake, & then seemed to get run out of it.

4th, so a small profit, as we had quarter odds @ 5/1 with BMU, & 6/1 qtr odds with Sporting Bet.

Mickie won?!  Thanks Neil, almost forgot this and just got on in time

Mickie won? I clean forgot that, so busy watching TwelveRoses.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry - I said earlier that I'd had £5 EW on Neil's other three, but it was not for Fred unless someone said so before 1.30.

Anyway, Fred made a small profit, others got on Mickie it seems, & I had a bit myself, too.

Deffo can't complain.

Call again Mr C, the door is always open, you know. And you let me know if anyone calls you Lord Grumpy, & I'll have a word with them, its bang out of order.

Blonde was playing up for me unfortunately, so they were just coming out as I got TfT back.

I scanned through and saw 'lump on' next to Twelve Roses, but was too late to even win lunch Sad

Great shout, and well done everyone!

With her skills and looks she's worth a whole new thread, well done Tonji, great call, shame most of us are probably restricted with PP, but a profit is a profit.

Some highlights for all the new Lara fans  Cheesy

Unfortunately we're unlikely see 11/2 again this season. She's already 2/1 favourite for tomorrow's Giant Slalom.

However, I see Bwin make here second favourite for the World Cup overall @ 2/1 & Boyles have her at 10/1. Not a recommend as I've not researched the season or scoring for this, & not a great fan of season bets.

Very much ouch at Copenhagen bet & I already punted on the 4-1, jesus wept! I've had to top up due to price. I think 6's is a good price considering the differing situations each time find themselves in, sadly 6's is the norm price, so not really value.

Two possible bets tomorrow though.

MTOYT is at Newcastle in the 2.05 & you can bet with the Hills 2nd place offer. However, they are the smallest price and you can get 4/5 instead of the 4/6 with Hills.

At Finshers cross in the 2.25 at Newbury is a definite bet for me with the offer, 5 runners & biggest price with Hills at 5/6 - Suggest £25 win on mobile.

There isn't anything wrong with backing My Tent or Yours.  You lose on the 4/6 instead of 5/6, but the free bet more than makes up for it.  Melodic Rendevous at 11/4 in the same race would be correct mathematically too.  He is less than 3/1 on Betfair and he is probably about 2/1 to finish 2nd and trigger the free bet.  MTOY is the better horse, but think Melodic Rendezvous is probably a better bet given MTOY is making his first start of the season.

At Fishers Cross is obvious.

There are probably a few bets in the Hennessey because of the five places with some firms (B365, Boyles and Sky).   I can get on with Bet 365, so have backed Invictus.  He has some good from before injury intervened last year.  You lose a bit on the SP vs BF (10/1 vs 11/1), but you effectively get an extra place which more than makes up for it.  Bet365 also do a free bet for those who get a winner above 4/1.  This all makes it a nice bet for me, but not for thread.  Boylesports have the same price without the free bet stuff, which is probably a bit marginal unless anyone else likes Invictus too.

Gotta agree with Mr Adz here, LOVE bets like that, & so many people enjoyed following this one.

Fred got daft Restricted to about £2 or whatever, but no matter, we had some great fun. Which is half the reason we are here.

So, what weird sport next, Tonji?

Thanks again, terrific fun.

We are on Melodic Rendezvous (11/4) & At Fishers Cross (10/11), both for £25 as "FREE BET IF 2nd" thingies.

Daily Report

Profit on the Month £207.39

Outstanding Bets £3209.51

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=32

With apologies for tardiness, all is Gut though as yesterday produced a profit of just over £22 thanks to Badbeat's each way result at Newbury and Tonji's skier who it seems to me was backed at 11/2 and went off odds-on? More of the same please

Last night in the Championship Reading beat Florist 3-2 away. Not a result that makes our Reading bet a live contender yet, but a step in the right direction. Reading are up to 4th ahead of today's games

I am bit pre-occupied but I think that was the only action in our various long term bets yesterday?

Last day of the month, £207 up and on the brink of a sixth successive month. Someone kidnap tikay's laptop until December.

It's the cycling off season, so gotta keep occupied.

I never been one for mainstream sports & being a Europhile find my interests are out of leftfield!

Likely to be Winter Sports for me, building up to the Winter Olympics in February.
