A site crash on a relatively quiet Saturday afternoon is almost a perfect storm, to use a term you wrote earlier today.

Most Online Bookies will have beefed up their platform capacity & stability in the run up to the Grand National. But I doubt many do Load Tests on a Saturday afternoon, quiet or not.

I stand by my point about Flappyanski though, but also for Everton - why play a strong team but undermine them with some bloke off the street in goal?!
