Based on performances and prices, I hope a few outsiders win....

Would love to be Mick Quinns bookie
Said this morning England should have been 1/10 tonight and were the "bet of the century"
Can be rest assured he has never seen Ecuador play

That knee tweak looked nasty to me, I'm hoping he recovers in time to play at all.

Daniel Taylor @DTguardian 20s Hodgson says Oxlade-Chamberlain's "knee buckled" and is a real injury concern. Scan tomorrow

No idea but amazed at the knee jerk stuff on Twitter Prandelli's Italy in friendlies: 4 W, 9 D, 9 L. In competitive matches: 20 W, 8 D, 3 L (losses to Spain x 2, Brazil) Wont count for a jot next week

didn't think the tackle was that bad, defo just a yellow. reaction from valencia horrendous though, defo can be a red even in a friendly (although i think yellow-yellow suffices..)

At home Might as well be getting beat of the dog and duck.

This actually looks a stronger squad than the last two tournaments and they were written of before both of them to. They are the Jp Mcmanus of the football world not off for 11 months of the year but are when it matters.

That. The only adjustment you should be looking to make is to oppose them in friendlies.

Yes agree with this ^^^^. get your point horsey - however I'd expect a conference side to give Luxembourg a good game. It's pretty incredible

Was the reaction of a player who had his leg broken in a similar tackle before. Dont understand going over the ball in a friendly

Nothing like as surprising but under Prandelli
Drew 0-0 with Cameroon b team
Lost 2-1 to a Mexico b team
Lost 2-0 to Republic of Ireland
Lost 1-0 at home to Usa
Lost 3-0 to Russia on neutral ground.
Even the friendlies show they perform when they face better sides. Beaten Spain, Holland and drawn with Brazil in friendlies under Prandelli.
