Thanks both
Mukhadram went off at 6/1 and not 11/2, as I thought, which makes a big difference.
Assuming 1.8 and 9/9.2 are both accurate, then we'd gain about 8% on the bet at 6/1 and about 1.5% at 11/2. I'd say it was worth taking the 6/1 and getting 8% but not the 11/2 and getting 1.5%. This is simply because even though you have a bet that is slightly profitable there is always a chance a bet like this will get you a black mark.
So even though we lost, we probably ended up with a good bet.

Back in the saddle
Some Hills offer bets.
14.30 The Great War 10/11
15.05 Cannock Chase 15/8
15.45 Vazira 11/4
16.25 Leading Light.
All look obvous to me. The Norfolk and the Gold Cup look likely to be good each way races, as does the 17:00 where some places are paying 5 places and maybe the last is good too. Am going to have a look now before BE get their selections up.

Youwin palped me.
Such BS a firm that bet in play should be held account for odds. If they weren't in play and reopened there market then they should stand by it! I mean did they push out anyone to round the book back
Surely you can't be serious? People make errors, and not updating that market at 1 in the morning was clearly one of them.
It just looks like something that is going to get palp'd and cause damage to your account way more often that you'd get away with it.

i like the look of a few outsiders
somewhat in the 3.05 e/w, on the faster ground and the track, much more suitable than what she has been on so far this season, stayed on on tacky ground at chester last time
quite happy to take the front few on here, 14-1 e/w 1/4 1,2,3
--
Altano e/w in the gold cup. bit of a plodder, but will stay this and beyond and some in this won't, would have been quite close last year if not baulked up the straight. bit unfashionable but 14/1 e/w 1,2,3 looks decent to me
i am assuming they haven't watered?

Arbboy speaks sense.
Will have to spread it round bookies. But back Mukhmal at 5/1, Baitha Alga at 8/1 and Tp Be Determined at 9/1 get quarter first 3 and you will do fine.
Unfortunately I think thread is going to be limited to sportingvet. Suggest 25 e/w Mukhmal 5/1 and To Be Determined at 9/1 with Sporting. If somebody could match beteveryday for thread on Baitha Alga that would be good.

Thought I'ld mention this site for anyone that's interested:
http://theyoungracegoer.com/
in case anyone wants some more Ascot thoughts...
He has been profitable to follow over a relatively small sample so far, At Ascot he put up The Wow Signal 13/2, Domination 12/1, Sizzler 25/1 placed, Anthem Alexander 7/2, Purr Along 12/1 placed, Ayaar 20/1 placed.

these four are placed,
wh offer money back free bet if 2nd
the great war 10/11

vazira 11/4
£25 each
these are the four best backed horses at william hill this morning....if it were that simple....
off to search for more outsiders :-))

wow, we are 10% at sportingbet too now.
Just having a look at the 2nd race, there are a few good each way ones in that too. Wouldn't put you off somewhat if we can get quarter first 4. I'll second it if you need it.
FWIW I got more than a tenner each way with paddies on one in the Norfolk. I am normally badly restricted. Try them for the Norfolk

My fault realty for not posting last night but just to remind Fred that the WH offer is valid from 17:30 the previous night. I know hills are best odds but if these were done these last night the prices would have been better
Evens TGW
5/4 LL
3 Vazira
Not a dig at anyone as I should have posted when I done them last night but something to remember. Pretty certain the first two were/are always going to be odds on.
