Are we on Tighty's cover bet on Chopra btw from his article this morning? He's currently 73* alongside Rikkie Clarke on 67*. Last over now.

Fred?

Doubt it.

I was AWOL this morning, and Tighty won't bet  his own stuff unless someone suggests as much.

Fair enough.

Birmingham Bears are 9/1 for £15 to win the T20 Blast on betty. The outsiders. Must be favourites in this game and then finals day is at Edgbaston.

Flick in a cheeky tenner

I'd suggest taking two thirds of that.

Edit: good work, whoever the sharpshooter is! Some lightfingered soul has teefed it. Probably takes their shoplifting back to Primark to complain (saw that today and too good not to reinvest!)

We really need Essex to win this. 2.06 on betfair, should be a great chase on a small ground with boundaries in. quite why essex would prepare a dry grippy pitch when the visitors have one of the best spinners in the competition is beyond me

i doubled up on the two runners at ham at 9/1 and 16/1. couldn't confirm earlier, was (it seems) trying to burn my kitchen down via the medium of cooking a chilli.

Done a fair bit of research in last hour and spoke to dubai about it.  Neither of us get the drift on July out to 4/6.  2 days gone in August already and its a huge price it's anywhere close to 90 in the next week or so.  Looking at the above forecasts the 4/6 looks massive value for those not already on.

I know we don't do apologies on here, but I am genuinley very annoyed.  I had a few bets at Hamilton tonigh had winners at 9/2 and 23/1 and a 2nd at 14/1 and the one I would have been most happy with was economic crisis.  So frustrating.

Quote of the day.

When asked about the performance that led the English women's 4x100m team to bronze, Asha Phillip: "The weather let us down today"

Second best quote of the day, same girl: "It's Scotland. We knew it would be like this".

Probably needs some media training. In fairness, the weather conditions today are much more comfortable for the Jamaicans and Nigerians. Roll Eyes

A seriously disappointing day in the T20 cricket

we went 0 for 3 in the quarter-finals to do the lot, having looked to have a sweat or two for finals day

wouldn't have guessed that at the start of the day.
