Yes agree, we should be paid to read this thread out of the skip loads of money Blonde must be making. Now I realise I've been exploited all along.

Morning.
I am off to Newbury in a second, so I haven't got time to write all I wish to.
Trevor, I have every respect for all you have ever posted here(never enough), but i can assure you as someone that knows bobby very well, jealousy is the furthest emotion from the truth. This is about a community of people that two years ago clambered over themselves to post and put winners up for all to enjoy. Then all of a sudden some of those people saw an opportunity to charge the rest of us for their input. Many of us could have done the same, we didn't, and continue to not do so, it simply seemed wrong-to us.
Strangely, it is those of us that continued to post for nothing that seem to have become the "bad guys" whenever we question the motives, when we are the ones that want to keep TFT vibrant. The last few months for me have been very sad to see how this place has fallen away, but I stopped feeling welcome here a while ago, and have, for now, kept my counsel, and suggestions, to myself.
I have have much more I could write, but do find it odd Joe called bobby out for not sitting on the forum for 24 hours to engage in a war of words, yet has not bothered replying to my post, despite spending most of yesterday logged in.
to be continued

Just over a year ago we had a TFT long weekend in London with most of the then regulars in attendance, and it was tremendous fun. Bobby1, Camel, Dubai, Jakally, NeilC were some of the Fred elders who attended but sadly no longer post since Fred has been monetised.
Don't know how that happened, but my 'name' in the middle of that little group is pretty cool. Love you Ralph.

I'm at a complete loss to understand the intended criticism of BE. Don't think they've ever done anything other than run their business in a completely honest and transparent manner. As a punter you're at liberty to take or leave their services ( or of course just get the benefit of the significant free to access elements )
In addition the founders have contributed generously here with tips and advice.
Tikay has run this thread in a professional and neutral manner being fair to everyone
Tighty is the most respected poster on blonde and in my view deserves no criticism what so ever
The majority of posters on here get up in the morning and go to work so they can pay bills
Tighty writes for numerous set ups so he can pay his bills everyone as the right to earn a living
The oldest complaint in the world is in play here.... Jealousy
I think that's a little harsh Trevor.
For better or for worse TFT has been cashed in to subsidise Blonde and the affilliate deal with BE gave them free license to head-hunt knowledgable contributors, most of whom now no longer post on here.
Just over a year ago we had a TFT long weekend in London with most of the then regulars in attendance, and it was tremendous fun. Bobby1, Camel, Dubai, Jakally, NeilC were some of the Fred elders who attended but sadly no longer post since Fred has been monetised.
It does feel to me like the family silver has been sold.
hello, i can't post much as i am working for a third party (dangerous, i know) and if i start i'll get too involved but there are so many misconceptions at play
blonde must have 40 or so affiliate deals. just normal for any forum
i think, the last time i checked, one person had signed up via it, now phil wants to criticise us for not being more successful at attracting affiliate revenue to BE, if i read it correctly
BE would have started if tft existed or not, so why not have an affiliate deal if people want to sign up having found BE through us?
we haven't cashed in tft at all. if we had wanted to do that we'd have charged a tenner a year for a subscription to it and put it on a private board. we resisted doing that
I dare say tikay and i will have to decide on a way ahead once this weekend is over. This may well be just running the positions down and not taking new bets. that's probably the odds on jolly as it stands
nothing at all to stop people discussing punting as they wish on here whether the apparatus of tikay's bankroll and the admin is behind it
one things for sure the "status quo" of bickering privately, fallings out and hand grendades being thrown in publically from time to time is not something we are going to persist with. no fun for anyone
for my own part, if i was in a position to turn down paid work (and BE is tiny in that respect) and sit watching jeremy kyle in my boxers i'd do it. i'm not, and i still don't think i have anything to answer for.
to be told last night that i have "sold out" when no one has done more to make the thread succeed than me on a daily baisis absolutely was frankly insulting.

It should be obvious why there is an "issue".
BE's activity on blonde has caused some knowledgeable individuals to stop posting in this thread.
BE operate bookmaking affiliate accounts that make money when punters lose, while the ethos of their site is to help punters win.
Nothing much can be done about the former and the latter, though a bit icky, is generally irrelevant if the info provided is helping punters win (although why a bookmaker would want such an affiliate is beyond me).
Obv it would be best if everyone moved on, but pretending that BE hasn't unintentionally caused a problem doesn't help that.
Don't understand the point. Winning gamblers with mainstream bookmakers only exist by piggybacking a sufficiently large population of losing gamblers.
Thats not right. Winning gamblers with mainstream bookies only exist when bookies put up enough wrong prices.

At the risk of getting things back on track.
Yesterday was a golden day for those that like to bet against Andy Murray when he lost to our friend Coric, the 18 year old. Today Coric plays Federer and I think the bookies have under estimated his chances. 8-1 is available and I wouldn't have made him bigger than 4's.

As almost everyone knows, the timing of all this could not be worse, both Tighty & I have our hands full up at DTD doing our day jobs. (Which in my case, today, includes playing the UKPC main Event, yay). This is one of my my busiest weeks of the year, so the timing of all this is dreadful.
I'll try & reply in detail to some of the points made on Monday, I certainly don't have time to do so before then. Expect some surprising answers.
For now....
There will be no Daily Updates from Tighty until we decide whether to continue with Fred. Tighty, who I believe is the most popular, hard working, honest & respected person on blonde, is pretty upset at the allegations levelled at him, some of which are 100% inaccurate, which can & will easily be disproven when I have a little more time to reply. Someone has their facts wrong.
If you don't like or enjoy Fred any more, then the answer is simple, don't Post here please. It's not obligatory to be part of it. We'll decide next week whether to continue. I have asked for others to replace me on numerous occasions, but not one person has stepped up to the plate. I don't need all this nonsense, believe me.
BE? If you don't approve of BE, or the people who run it, don't buy their product. If you do, fine, go ahead. You are all adults & can make your own minds up.
If you wish to complain about BE, they have their own thread.
For the record, I endorse their service 100%. It's a tipping service run by very good friends of mine, who have been very good to me (as has Phil), & in my experience & opinion, they are men of integrity & honesty. There are hundreds of tipping services, you all have a choice whether to use BE or not. I'd try to support any business run by trusted friends of mine, whether it were Joe & Neil, Phil, or anyone else, & I always have done, & if blonde can help them along the way, good luck to them.
I'm obviously sitting on an extremely uncomfy chair right now, stuck between mutual friends of very long standing.
It's just a forum thread, designed to be fun, & we make a bit of money along the way thanks to people sharing tips & info. It's not life or death.
I "sold out"? Last I heard, (admittedly a long time ago, I've not asked or checked since) 3 people had signed up to BE via blonde. Any income we eventually receive from BE (we have not received any yet, that I am aware of) will be used to fund the server costs of blonde, which are £220 per month & paid by me.
I'd appreciate it if we could just move on now, please, & in particular, Tighty & I don't have time right now to debate it all day & night, sorry, but we'll try & deal with genuine questions & concerns next week.
Have a good weekend.

If you are trying to suggest that bookmakers go ok we have these guys winning all the time, but that's ok because we have plenty of losers, you are completely deluded. Bookmaking isn't peer to peer, the existence of losers makes no difference whatsoever to the ability of a sharp punter to maintain an account.

I sincerely hope thread continues in spite of the fact people have kicked off about not a lot as far as I can see, and slung a lot of mud around.
If it doesn't - thanks for your hard work Tighty - has kept me entertained for many a morning coffee and has been much appreciated.
