I presume dead heat rules apply on Golf, much like racing?

Paddy paid me out on the place, and then took a bullseye back in the night Cheesy

They do indeed.

Cheers, Hector.

Should have cashed it out and had them over Smiley

can Liverpool fans tell me the likely back four tonight please?

Skrtel and Can still suspended?

Sakho out for a month....

wondering what the LFC fan base level of confidence would be tonight in keeping a clean sheet?

(i know what the Newcastle issues are!)

I was surprised to see that both teams to score is odds against. As you say, are Liverpool really likely to keep a clean sheet?

Are we confusing the handicap mark/weight carried thing?

He can indeed only carry another 1lb but if he's 7lb higher, as looks likely, he'll be conceding 7lb more to the others than he was this year.

A lot can change between now and next spring and it's very hard for anything to repeat in the National these days.

Wait for the Hennessy and go from there?

*Disclaimer. I was only explaining the facts. I was in no way suggesting others should steam in this early.

I think Pineau de Rae went off 25s this year, so its no guarantee that its will be shorter than it is now, a year later.

So you actually agree with me then...

No, not really. You said wait because he will have top weight, but he as good as had top weight this time, and I pointed out he will only carry 1lb more in weight next year max. So that isn't a valid reason.

I suggested you wait because a lot can happen in a year! Wink

I have a suggestion. Can we keep around five large in either 'Fair or 'Daq?

Always good to have funds in there in case a back to lay springs up, like the Liverpool top four bet for example (went from 9-1 to slight odds-on, which would have put us in a good spot).

It's 100% safe in either (ring-fenced), so effectively the same as having it in the bank or a pillow case.

Jordy can be laid at 11 (might be able to get 10 matched) for the US Open so we may as well close that one out now by laying back the stake.

I've been mulling that over all day Graham, & I'm not entirely sure I want to do it.

The Jordan Speith situation is a perfect example of why it makes sense - free money, in effect. (Great spot, btw).

But....

As you well know, I honestly don't have much understanding of the mechanics of Exchanges, beyond the basics. I can be a very dangerous man when logged into Betfair, trust me, what with my penchant for misclicking.

I am also keen to keep this whole thing "fun". £5,000 is not "fun" money to me, that's serious money in my world.

As it stands, I've been very fortunate to make £6,000 of profit thanks to everyone here, but I've not seen a penny of that - we have over £4,000 in the forward book, & close to £3,000 (may be less, don't know without checking) spread around the various accounts. I'm very very thankful for that.

Barely a week on Fred seems to go by without folks leaving, going AWOL, returning, boycotting, trolling, causing upset, falling out with me or whatever. What happens if that £5,000 gets fully used in lays, & then I get left holding the baby & no idea how to actively manage it if Fred implodes? I bet I've had the fat end of 100 PM's, e-Mails, texts & phone calls to me complaining about my part in helping run this thread, & I've had a belly full.

I just want to keep the thread as a "fun" thread, it's stressed me to death at times with all the argy-bargy.

I am so conflicted on this suggestion, I know it makes perfect sense, as I trust you & many others completely, I could probably make a living just following some of you guys. It just troubles me that Fred never seems to be far from another implosion, & it could all end badly for me.  I've lost too many good friends over it already, never mind finding myself exposed to £5,000 which I don't know how to manage.

That make sense?

Skrtel/Gerrard suspended. Can back I think. Gotta think its gonna be Toure/Can/Lovren as the back 3.

Confidence wise? Nervous. But somehow Mignolet is playing well. If there was a league game we were gonna keep a clean sheet in with Skrtel out, its probably this one.

Yup, makes total sense.

Not a problem though, I can trade it back for you on Daq nearer the time. Or someone else can. Or cash out...

Evening Mr T.

I have to apologise as the earlly start in Monte Carlo caught me out and I missed tipping Mr Stroppy to lose again. He has only won 1 match this season and they keep making him favourite. Not to be caught out again I think we should back Andrei Seppi to beat Tommy Robredo in the Monte Carlo tennis tomorrow. Seppi was very good on clay last season and Tommy Robredo's form doesn't look much cop upon close scrutiny.

Suggest £15 Seppi @ 7/5 with betvictor.
