with no rain forecast http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2653228

good going http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/going

and the outside draw

shall we leave it?

It may well win but in such a hot race I don't see what the value aspect is tbh,

I.e. the money is for the other horse, last time I looked, and they needed rain which doesn't look forthcoming. Dr k horses invariably underpriced at Chester.

I would add that if there was a 10k bonus for running his horses at Haydock, he'd still want to run them at Chester.   Obv wins now

Backing a horsey drawn 13 at Chester Tal? Yikes!

Not much to do with Wedding Vow. Listen, we'll just have to let her run.

Think Crystal Zvezda starts favourite myself, so we'll lay back £30 now on Legatissimo @ 4.5 pleas.

I'm hoping it's a day for the unlikely victors, today, chompy.

Scuy are five places in the 2:55 pinsticker at York. No good for Fred, but others might well enjoy. They're industry best price on Monsieur Joe and Fairway to Heaven, although I like Bogart at 10/1 v the 11/1 it's touching with Betty SB.

£3.65 have the same offer on the race (5 places 1/4) and are best price on Ancient Cross and Green Door of the top few.

I actually like a dog that's running tonight in the 1st round of Greyhound Derby to put it up here.

Blonde Nipper 2/1 hills/betfred, great Irish form, winning Towcester debut, strong finisher and a decent trail, think it starts shorter than 2/1 (currently shorter on thin BF market) owner and trainer have said they are both confident. It may not lead but should be handy enough to pull back King Alley. If he leads we r counting the money.

http://www.racingpost.com/news/greyhounds/nipper-derby-odds-hold-firm-after-debut-strike/1826838/

Would also recommend getting on the 100/1 ante post ew outright as well (someone will have to do this for Fred  as its with 365) currently 67.0 on BF.

Recommend £30 win tonight (9:26 I think) Blond Nipper with Hills or Fred

Recommend £10 ew Derby outright with 365 @ 100/1 ( if someone can get this on, I cannot bet with 365)

Don't we just wait for the Derby, hope for a few outsiders and 4 places?

Any views on Gabriel's Kaka today? Funny course, Chester, with a tight bend and basically a running track with barely a straight to speak of. Bit of money on the Koukash horse this morning that has a poor, outside draw but ran round here just a couple of weeks ago and, given there are thirty six other meetings in the north today (no idea why they've scheduled that, but there we are), trainer and owner must believe this is a good race for their horse.

Good ground (as opposed to softer stuff earlier in the month) and a 13 runner race might not be too bad for the draw if he can start well. Down a little in the weights and 3 extra pounds off for the claiming jockey.

9/1 with Billy Mountain. Don't think this is a good each way race (13 runners 11/2-40/1 and three places), so win only £20 is the recommend.

Might help if it doesn't stand in the stalls for half an hour while the others are running away.

I see there is a tip elsewhere for 17/2 Benteke each way goalscorer. I'm not sure I agree with the each way portion of it being value. Unless there's an early goal, I'm expecting a tight affair. Three of the top four scores in the market are under 2.5 goals. I'd rather double up on the win part, personally.

As it's with £3.65, that might be a challenge, but it can't be a bad bet, given everyone else is 7/1 FGS

I was very tempted to put up over 2.5 3.5 4.5, i have to say....not sure Villa are best served trying to grind out a tight one, the question is whether they will get enough possession to do damge.

>2.5 goals is Evens on a Badly price boost, 4/5 on the exchange.
