Thoughts on West Ham away at Man United in the FA Cup this Sunday?

West Ham have a cracking away record, with notable scalps at Arsenal, City, Liverpool in the league, and a great comeback at Everton just last weekend, so momentum and confidence should be flowing after 3 victories on the bounce. Payet is back and very dangerous, and a couple other players like Reid and Valencia are in contention after injury. Bilic is taking the comp very seriously by all accounts.

On the contrary, united have a well documented injury list, and have just played 90 minutes last night so won't be as fresh as the Hammers. Their form in general is very hit and miss, and O/T is so far removed from the intimidating fortress it once was. And they have Fellaini.

WHU to win is a general 3/1, but Betfair and BV are 16/5....http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/fa-cup/man-utd-v-west-ham/winner

DNB is 2/1 with Hills.....http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/fa-cup/man-utd-v-west-ham/draw-no-bet

Just don't understand how he manages to play week in week out.

As with the bet - I agree strongly and really do see the Hammers overturning United.

LVG then out before the end of the season?

Afternoon tighty.

Tonights super league sees a top clash with wigan hosting leeds. Both teams have lots of injuries but wigan sem to be coping better. They have won all 4 games but none of them by more than a single score. The problem wigan have is scoring points, their defence is still excellent. The bookies have a wigan win by more than 12 points as a favourite over less than 12 points and that is wrong.

Suggest £15 wigan by 1 to 12 points @ 15/8 with sporting.

If there is any justice in the world, he'll sign a 5 year extension in the summer.

Another way to get with this (and my preference) is to take the 10/1 WHU outright.
Funnily enough I took some this morning before this was put up.
10/1 with Choral, Stan and Sky. 10.5/11 on the machine.

Golden Sprint semi final tonight. I want to put one up for the competition and a couple of other selections for the card.

Express Master is a dog not getting any younger however can still mix it with the big boys and 400m is his ideal trip. He's got great early shown last week and this race imo looks his to lose tonight. I've had a bet for the heat also. Hills are top price 16/1 for the competition and also still offering top 4 1/4 ew odds, whereas the rest go shorter or only top 3 ew. Suggest £10ew if we can.

http://www.oddschecker.com/greyhounds/ante-post/golden-sprint/winner

As for the meeting - I will put a couple for Fred and then the other one or two that i've bet tonight if people are interested.

8.50 - Laughing Gravy 5/4. Class round this track was antepost jf - beaten last week by a sprinter getting the better of him early and not being able to get after him. Nothings changed of the dogs ability this is a better make up tonight. £40 @ 5/4.

http://www.oddschecker.com/greyhounds/romford/20:50/winner

9.40 - Swabys Millward 5/1. This dog made it onto my watchlist after last weeks run. He ran a big race for 5 bends behind two top dogs in Fivestar Clipper and Ribble Aon. He's a dog that likes to be infront and today he has a good chance in a race which will be considered a big downgrade from last week. Bob in trap 1 is a danger and is definitely better boxed however the dog is too inconsistent for me at such a short price we are value in this race. £20 @ 5/1.

Others of note :

7.47 - Oakfield Cesar 4/1 Hills - Nice trial lines needs to translate to a race. Tonight is a good chance to open his account.
9.06 - Express Master 7/2 - As per the antepost, I like the price to win tonights race.
10.40 - Be Witch 13/2 - Bitch running well at the moment and will cope with the step up in distance just needs to find a pitch round the first bend and has a chance at a big price.

News from Moscow: all games drawn in the opening round of the Candidates chess, apart from one.

Anand v Topalov was a heck of an encounter. Anand started with his pet Ruy Lopez and avoided Topalov's Berlin Defence. Topalov then got creative and the game soon became fiery and sharp. Anand held firm and when Topalov didn't find the perfect sequence of moves, Anand capitalised and countered, ultimately beating the world number 8.

First blood to our man.

13 more rounds to go. The next one is tomorrow, where Anand is black against Armenian, Levon Aronian.

Wides are pinging at Romford at diff speed to the railers first few races.  Shortie in t2 in last sprint run a terrible race with no trouble.

No trouble there. Miss it in a sprint you're going to do well to run a good race.

Pretty safe to say its suiting the wides now Matty?  t5 goes off a pony on the machine and hoses up leading pillar to post.  t6 following it home.  Couldn't possibly win on all known form with 3 and 6 tight in behind.
