if i have missed anything, shout

tikay might like to check his BFSB open bets, 29 feb, for some news on Vautour which might brigthen his day.

Crikey, is that a Fred bet? Who gave us that?

£50 @ 9/2, very nice, Value Pie incoming.

it was late at night

Patrick Mullins had just been quoted as saying it was going to the ryanair

i thought i would place it, and pop the quote on the thread in the morning, bound to be accepted etc

i popped the quote on the thread, to be told not to listen to patrick, listen to willie or something similar. need nrnb etc etc

forgot about it, then forgot to give you £50 for it at DTD because it looked like a mistake on my part

hopefully we've got lucky

We did - thank you.

I run good.

14:50 Road to Riches e/w @ 8/1  with everyday if anyone can for Fred, or 15/2 with baldfred, if not.

3rd in last GC on ground that won't have been in his favour. Today the ground will suit the horse much more, and I think it definitely has the pace for this trip at Cheltenham.

Can't see it out of the 3, and should Vautour not perform it's got a good shout of winning.

Feel free to wait for advice from the other nag guys first, though.

If fancied by any of the others, maybe 20ew?

2m 5f Chase
Outright Betting
EW 1/4 1,2,3   Road To Riches   15/2
Total stake   40.00
Estimated return   227.50
Full stake   40.00
Full estimated return   227.50

oioi, Marky on the mark, well done.

should we be backing Djakadam?

presumably that's the one that made vautour look ordinary on the gallops and caused them to re-route from the champions league to the vauxhall conference race?

You could just as easily view that it boosts the king george form i.e. Cue Card

Have no idea for the Gold Cup tbh

Cheltenham

Day 1 +£447
Day 2 +£172

Day 3 -£249
Total+£270

Each way returns in bold

JLT Novices Chase   Garde La victoire   16/1   20   0   N   -20
Cheltenham 14:50    Road To Riches   8/1   40   60   Y   20
cheltenham 1.30    L'Ami Serge   9/1   50   81.25   Y   31.25

Cheltenham 14:50   Dynaste   40/1   30   0   N   -30
Cheltenham 15:30   cole harden   7/1   50   0   N   -50
Cheltenham 15:30   whisper   11/1   30   0   N   -30
Cheltenham 16:50   smart talk   7/1   50   0   N   -50
Cheltenham 16:10   fingal bay   10/1   40   0   N   -40
Cheltenham 14:10   rolling maul   50/1   20   0   N   -20
Cheltenham 14:10   Kilfinichen Bay   50/1   20   0   N   -20

I expect the Vautour, thistlecrack, Limini short-riced treble did quite a lot of damage.

GB 10 Ireland 9 in the Prestbury cup with 8 races to go

prestbury cup   ireland   13/8   50

tomorrow we have, so far

foxhunters cheltenham   on the fringe   7/2   40

Monmore on Sky tonight.

Two selections :

7.26 Romeo Ballistic - dog coming back after being off for most of the winter and has been running sprints at Wimbledon. He's got a nice turn of early but not quite good enough for those however has a chance to lead this 4 bend contest. Trap 1 is definitely pitched perfectly and is rightly favourite and a worry as he is a staying type and we wouldn't want him turning right behind. Although our trial was nothing special at all and we will have to find a bit on the clock to win if we get round infront, I think the dog will strip fitter and certainly has the races under his belt which show he is capable of winning this. Rec £20 @ 8/1.

8.51 Walshes Hill - Not an original selection, one of the best sprinters in the country - a dog I absolutely love watching. Top top sprinter who should be an odds on shot in this race for me. Rec £75 @ 11/10 if someone can get Fred on with B365.

Can't quite remember if we have BFred or not, but they have a decent offer on the darts tonight.

Gary Anderson to win both his matches (vs Lewis and Wright) at 4.33

For context, Billy's are on 3.25 for the same offer. I believe this is make or break for Ando this week and last week he played far better and looked more like his normal self.

Recommend £30 if we are able.

4.33 is almost exactly the betfair price (4.26)
