Thank you for the nice messages all; I was fairly confident of a Red Bull pole today, looks like we backed the right driver after Verstappen binned it (we did have money on Verstappen too, but only £5 vs £20 on Ricciardo).
Pre-race bets coming sometime before midnight

2 through there....
5 railers, my ideal draw would be seeing my 3 in 1,2,3 boxes!
Hiya Butt in 1
Cloran Paddy in 2
Droopys Roddick in 3
please?

Hmmm, 2 out of 3, but Hiya Butt looks to set the race up for Jaytee Jet bigtime.

Jet could do 28.40 and win this final potentially. Could be chaos at the first bend. Butt first out turning left!

Yeah it's just set right up for it, 13/8 actually looks tempting to get it onside in the book!

I have managed to find a few more Monaco GP spots for us;
Podium Finish - Sebastian Vettel
@ 6/5 with SkaiBet/PaddiPower/Exchange - Suggest £10. Always happy to take over EVS on Sebastian starting 4th.
http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/monaco-grand-prix/top-3-finish
Safety Car? - No
@ 15/2 with 366 (7/1 is okay too). On a track like the one in Monaco, this might seem like an unusual bet to be making. However, as we have seen in the two GP2 races this weekend, all incidents have been covered by virtual safety cars. I checked 366's rules on this and they state:
"A Safety Car Period is defined as the need for the Safety Car to run in front of the leading car during a specified race. Should the race start under the Safety Car, then all bets concerning the Safety Car market will be settled as Yes. If the race finishes under Safety Car conditions but the safety car has not had time to get to the front of the leading car this market will be settled as Yes.
Virtual Safety Car periods do not count
."
Because of this, 15/2 is too good to turn down. Suggest £10.

Not to finish the race - Jolyon Palmer
(13/8 with various),
Rio Haryanto
(5/4 with various),
Lewis Hamilton
(9/2 with various). Suggest £10 on each. Palmer and Haryanto have not looked confident all weekend, and have both hit the barriers at some stage through practice. For both of them, I would suggest crashing out is more of a probability than a possibility. Meanwhile, I did put up the Lewis suggestion earlier, but I think it was only available with one bookie that TFT couldn't use. It's now available with many.

Meanwhile, I wasn't keen on suggesting any spreads due to the (potentially) unpredictable nature of the Monaco GP. However, the
match bet between Raikkonen and Verstappen
where you can
buy Raikkonen
at 3 is an incredible spot. I feel like I'm missing something really .. Raikkonen starts 11th, Verstappen starts 21st ..

How many races does Palmer have left, Peter?

Palmer has a contract until the end of the season .. and I've not heard anyone suggest he's under any particular pressure. Not sure I understand the question fully?
Magnussen has perhaps had the slight edge so far; but given that this is Palmer's first season, he has done a solid enough job up to this point.

Fair enough. It was nothing more than my own view of how he's started.
He's not had a good start in the big league, the team gave Magnussen the upgraded engine while he had the old one this weekend and presumably (given they don't have two upgraded engines) the team needs money. He has got out of Q1 once so far.
Hope it works out, though.
