USA lost 4-2 to Canada last night in their make-or-break second game. They never really looked like they wanted to step it up, pretty much plain sailing for Canada.

£10 e/w Dobbie (each way 1/3 unlimited places on first goalscorers) @ 16/1
£10 e/w Lyle (each way 1/3 unlimited places on first goalscorers) @ 12/1
Confirmed.
Dazzler put these on for Fred, sadly nowhere near.

West Ham v Accrington - West Ham win to nil 13/10 Victor.
Think West Ham will be wanting to stop the rot tonight and definitely do it to nil, looks like a perfect opportunity for them. 13/10 in one place & looks huge standout, Rec £50

did you see the oddschecker preview of this?
the accrington defence stats are striking
West Ham v Accrington - Wednesday 19:45
Accrington have shown a remarkable ability to keep things tight when the mood takes them. Last season, John Coleman’s men conceded just five goals in nine away games against the rest of the top eight (including knockout competitions) with eight of those games finishing under 1.5 goals. In their final ten games of their promotion run-in, they kept seven clean sheets.
This season, they’ve stood firm for 120 minutes against both Bradford and Burnley in this competition, eventually progressing after playing out a forgettable goalless draws over the initial 90 minutes. They now head to the London Stadium on the back of further clean sheets against Notts County and Portsmouth, against whom they allowed just six attempts on goal and zero shots on target.
West Ham are a cut above all those teams, of course...."
and on it goes

Aaron or anyone spot any outliers in the League Cup of reserves who might start like Loftus Cheek in the last round and might be value in the goalscorer markets??? I'm having a scout now...

For example, Harry Winks to start for Spurs tonight in midfield?

Dunno who's going to play, but I'm confident that West Ham & Man Utd will be wanting to stop the rot, regardless of who they are playing.

Because they usually want to be rotten?

India v New Zealand test match starts tomorrow, I'm keen on supporting Ashwin given India look likely to only play 4 bowlers.

Looks like the market argrees with Aaron, United being heavily backed and Northampton drifting heavily. Can now get 18/1!
I guess team news have been leaked and we're likely to see a very strong lineup from Man Utd.

I reckon Rooney will get a game to restore confidence. He will batter the cobblers and then declare that he is back to his best. When that proves incorrect he will reignite his career with a hat trick for England against someone like Malta. Rinse. Repeat.

Only 16/1 now and shy restricted me to £15. Hope they don't moan when the accas come in.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Absolute car crash of a weekend for the F1 betting wise, mainly caused by the start incident.
Things not going well for me at all of late
Don't worry about today Peter, these things happen. Sample size and all that.
No complaints here, none at all, we'll win the war, a few lost battles along the way is no big deal to Fred.
True. I do think I've started to get greedy to a certain extent though, which is one explanation for the recent results .. I'm now trying to beat all markets rather than placing fewer bets where the big value spots are (which was my strategy originally). I will remedy this for the next GP in Malaysia.

I don't want to be the metaphor police, here, but come on!
Would it be better if I said bike crash then?

What on earth has happened to Stoke? They look stronger on paper this year after being a solid midtable operator last year. I imagine they will turn a corner soon but got to be a point when potters fans worry that it isn't just a blip.
Starting shay given who moves as quick as I do at present can't help
Shay Given, in his prime, was one of the most under-rated players in the history of World Football. He was, without doubt, one of the top keepers. Positioning, shot stopping, distribution and reflexes were all fantastic. Yes, I am a Newcastle fan - but this is my honest, being as unbiased as possible, view.
Can't argue about your assessment of him now given that he's 40. Just felt that had to be said
