Thanks for the cricket bet!

For those who were bullish on AFC Wimbledon. They are above 2/1 for the FA Cup vs Bury who have lost seven in a row. Thoughts? Full strength team from the Dons? Good price?

Like.

They are perfect for an away Cup tie. Bury had that early-season run of wins but even then just looked like relegation fodder having a good spell.

Bergeroo you mentioned Murray to beat tsonga 2-0 the other day at 4/7, I think you have an even bigger case today v berdych, albeit 4/9.  This is one of the huge mismatch tennis matches we have right now.

I'm on at 1/2!

Nice one boys. Bit of a sweaty tie-breaker 1st set. I particularly enjoyed the apology from the commentators for Murray's X-rated tirade before getting it done.

I hope you're right but I wonder if team news might be important. Ardley has seemed to be careful with his words in the last day or two about who will be playing due to the CrapATrade rubbish coming up. Poleon and Charles are definitely out and both are big misses. I know Bury have a lot of injuries though and are in very poor form so I'm hoping any team we do put out is good enough.

You won't win many breakers from 6-1 down, very fortunate. I think cilic will continue his great form and win this tournament

for those awake, the 11.35 Breeders Cup Distaff is a very good each way race.  Maybe don't go crazy on stakes, but Stellar Wind e/w is going to be always value if you get quarter first 3.

She ran a funny race, looked beat on the turn and the rider seemed to give up, then she finished with a bit of a rattle for fourth.  She started below 4 on betfair.  Obv picked the wrong dirty each way as Beholder seemed to have won a mighty tussle on the line.

That's what I thought. Good argument for backing again at 6-1 NRNB, albeit only for another £50 probs.

Think he's nailed on ftw barring unforeseens. As much as Farage is nailed on for most bushtucker trials.

Danny Baker a national treasure these days, in the same bracket as Bruce Forsyth, Dame Maggie Smith and Sky Poker's Tony Kendall.

Agree Danny is a national treasure but.....also fancy Nicola Adams, very likeable.

Asked if she would appear on reality shows like fellow Olympic medallists Louis Smith and Victoria Pendleton on Strictly Come Dancing and Beth Tweddle on Dancing On Ice, Nicola answered: “I think I’d be more of a jungle type of person.

“I’m competitive. I’m an athlete so I’d be ready for anything in the jungle,” she added.

So has she been approached by I’m A Celeb? “Possibly, maybe. I’m not sure. Who knows what the future holds?” she teased.

Likes being on TV!....from her website:

Nicola has enjoyed acting; she appeared as an extra in some of Britain’s iconic soaps, including, Coronation Street and Emmerdale, and had a cameo appearance in the BBC’s award-winning drama series, Waterloo Road, where she played herself (October 2013).

Not for fred. but Nicola is 9/1 with Skybetty NRNB

Korals are only 7/1 NRNB....but seem to be the only ones that are e/w first 3 according to oddschecker.

PS just noticed korals are 8/1 Danny.....so surely also a good bet e/w with NRNB.

Danny off from his 5live Saturday show for next 5 weeks....wonder what he's up to?

Korals down to 6/1....but seems to be only bookie offering e/w top 3 and also nrnb.

For those with Betstarz. They are going 50/1 Isner to beat Cilic 6-3 in the first set today. Next best price is 14s. Price was there last night and still there today...

Isn't that just a palp?  Odd though, they are really short on Cilic 6-3 and really big on Cilic 6-4 (12-1).  Does this mean they could be pricing on Cilic serving first?  That can't be known yet, can it?   Nobody else seems to know if they do.

yeah I just left it last night but it is still there today, so I put a small amount on just now, because a few of their prices are generally out of line/different and indeed there seems a few variations in that market. So I'm not sure really. Maybe just freerolling myself...

The November handicap is pretty difficult.  Lots of horses on the wrong ground/distance and the 5 places disappearing.

Struggle to look past the favourite (5/1 and 5 places would be nice! think 5/1 and the offer is ok) and maybe Neil's in Tighty's column.  Of all the wrong ground/distance horses, Qassem is very intersting.  It is a soft ground horse out of, what should be, a soft ground sire, and has been running in France.  Do you think it came over for the ground and Fabre got the distance completely wrong?  Seems unlikely?  But just about my favourite jockey/trainer combo.  I couldn't resist having a nibble on betfair at 20.  I am not sure I'd bother with the each way on such a horse though.

Apologies that Fred has not been able to get many recommendations on this week. Tighty has his hands full with family illness, & I've been otherwise engaged with workload & a few health probs.

I'm around for a bit today, & will try & get a few bets on.

Meanwhile, just keeping putting them up, please.

Can you just give me some guidance here please doobs.

The Favourite - best I can get at 5 places is 9/2, or 4 places @ 5/1. Which should I take?

The Road to Riches tip, same again, can only get 16/1 5 places, or 20/1 4 places.

Qassem - I can get around 20/1 on Betfair Exchange.
